Guest guest
I will try to start things off. I am sure many others will have things to add. 108, numerologically, is a 9, which is a number of divinity, and in fact is "Swami's number," as our most beloved Swami says. Interestingly, Swami weighs 108 pounds...not 107, not 109, but 108. Many take the appearance of 9's in their experience to be signs from Swami. That's just a start. Others will have much more to say. Someone also has an MS Word document on "The Divine Number 9" that is also quite interesting. Sai Ram, Thomas
Guest guest
Sairam Brother Thiroshan It is indeed surprising. I read your mail and unintentionally going over some old files and suddenlt saw the following and recollected that it was you who asked for it. Accly Iam appending it below: "......Swami shows how intricately nine is linked to the process of life: I wonder how many of you know the significance of the number 108?...All such mystic numbers have a deep meaning. Man breathes at the rate of 900 per hour, 21,600 times per day, 10,800 during daytime. With every breath, man is supposed to repeat Soham, ‘ I Am He’ – and so the figure 216 and its half, 108, has a deep significance…9 being the number indicative of Brahman…. And so our very breath, the essence of life itself, the life force that is God, rides on the wave of Divine nine. This is taken from Spiritual Impressions posted in the sometime back by someone and archived by me. Guest guest
Dear All, The number 9 is indeed a Divine Number. The number 108 is 12 times 9; though this may sound simple; it has a great mystic significance. The number 9 is also a Lucky number and those who are born on the 9th, the 19th and the 29th will surely vouch about their Good Fortune and Success in everyday life, career and business. Moreover, these people have a 'penchant' towards Religion and Spirituality and a Closeness to God.They are also beautiful, kind-hearted and they are endowed with intuition and insight. at the Lotus Feet of SAI anita
Guest guest
Aum Sai Ram Thiroshan The number 9 is the only number which when multiplied by any other number will add up to 9 e.g. 9 x 1 = 9 9 x 2 = 18 1 + 8 = 9 9 x 3 = 27 2 + 7 = 9 9 x 4 = 36 3 + 6 = 9 9 x 5 = 45 4 + 5 = 9 9 x 6 = 54 5 + 4 = 9 9 x 7 = 63 6 + 3 = 9 and so on and so fourth... 108 is also one of those answers and signifies the amount of times the holy name can be chanted with ease to derive the fullness of understanding, love & meaning of the divine name. Hoping at least if the first hundred and 107 to not reach the lord, the 108th one would. 9 also represents the nine planets 9 is also the number of months for a lady to give birth 9 is also the nine gates in our body v.i.z. mouth, 2 ears, 2 nose, 2 eyes. urinary passage & excreta passage Hope this helps a bit Sai Ram MELVIN NAIDOO INT.
