Dear Brother Ranganatha Ji,

 

Do we encounter, in this life, people we have known in another life?

 

I do believe in rebirth too and I understand your feeling that your

daughter was your mum in another life. No, it does not sound funny

at all. I had a similar feeling about a tabla player. When he was

playing the tabla at Baba Temple, I was choked with emotion; I would

cry and was unable to sing Sai Bhajans. As the situation was

becoming alarming, I went up to him one day and talked to him. He

smiled and he told me it was Baba's Leela. He added that Baba would

redress the situation

"If my tabla makes you cry, then cry, don't be embarrassed; you are

cleaning your negative Karma"

Then one morning, in meditation, I asked Bhagawan

"Bhagawan, why does the tabla player break my heart with the magic

of his hands on the drums? He is definitely blessed by the Goddess

Saraswati to be such a virtuoso at tabla. Why do I become so

stupidly emotional?"

Then I had a vision that the tabla player was a tabla player and I

was a naartaki in a previous life; I tied the gungroos and danced

like mad when he beat on the tabla.

In this life we are both paying our debts due to our past karma and

we are both in the same bhajan group singing the Glory of Bhagawan.

After the vision, I was back to normal. He continues to accompany me

on the tabla when I sing. In November 2004, I met him in Bangalore,

on my way back from Parthi and I offered to him a new set of tabla

as a present. He was so pleased; he called a rickshaw, took me and

my son to a Sai Centre along with him and there he gave an awe-

inspiring demonstration of his celestial talent.

I have come across other people too; I will tell you more later.
