Guest guest Posted January 10, 2006 Report Share Posted January 10, 2006 Sai Ram to all my wonderful Sai Family, I know that some have written in about issues with the prayer list ... mainly that it has been late on more than one occasion .. Firstly .. My deepest apologies for this ... It is difficult due to many various reasons as to why it has sometimes come across late ... Sometimes we have power outages in the mountains of New Hampshire .. especially in Wintertime ... I live in a small log cabin on a mountain miles from Town. Secondly .. if I were to start the list ahead of time for every time zone .. I would have to send it out practically on Tuesday to make for Thursday morning in some places ... As I have said in the past ... If you do not get the Prayer List in time .. then merely use the previous prayer List .. it seems the only logical way around this at this point ... As I have also said .. there is a number of us working on how to make the Prayer list set up in such a way as to send it out so it is compatible for everyone and would go out automatically .. inspite of any difficulties on my end ... So if we all can just do the best we can until we get this all streamlined ... and be alittle patient and understanding it would be deeply deeply appreciated .... Brother Soumendra is going to send me a list of everyone who is actually doing the prayer list to be included in the Monthly Full Moon Puja .... That I will be doing on your behalf for the help and prayers that we all .. as a group offer as seva. I hope that this email finds everyone well .. Please know that we are trying our very best ... to make this enjoyable and acceptable to everyone .. and I hope that everyone will please be patient and understanding. There will be mix ups ... late lists .. mistakes and everything else ... I am only one person at times doing the list .. I am a wife and mother of 3 in an isolated part of the United States .. not too mention a mother of an Autistic son. I ask for everyones kind understanding and cooperation when it comes to the prayer list. But after sister Melody offered her seva to do this service many are posting their prayer requests directly to her, i think, as i too did some time back. And even recently last week i included the names of two brothers asked for prayers for their fathers to the list i have on my own account. But now a days As the list is too big it is difficult to read all the names and it takes a lot of time too. So i started to mention about all the brothers and sisters in common who are asking for prayers on their behalf and their near and dear and also for those who are not on the list but need Swami's aid and grace. My dear sai brothers and sisters, the sankalpa of our heart is the crux in prayers. whether some names are there in the list for so many days/months/years why worry about that. All are our brethern.The particular issue may be over. But still they may have problems,coz that is the way of life. Our bhagawan is the residebnt of our hearts. when we make the sankalpa there is no confusion regarding the length of the lists. I also feel sad to remove the names.So I make a sankalpa and then pray to bhagawan. With limited resourse the people complaining cannot even do a small job. I pray for you and thank you. Keep up the good job. This is great save.
