A Suggestion

Katha. Yes, I know that you will say that it is long and 3 Aarthis to be sung,

according to a procedure I found on the net, but since Poornima is also known

as Sathyanarayan and we being followers, or if you prefer saying devotees, of

Swami I suggest that we read His Sathya Narayan Katha. If you do agree to this

and do not have the Sathyanarayan Katha of Swami, do let me know and I will

send it to you as I have it saved on my computer, but will have to send it to

you through my other email account as I am having a problem with my mail

account. I can only send and receive emails, but I cannot send forward emails

or attachments, so I will see how to send it, if you agree and require that I

send it to you. Please do let me know what you think about this suggestion. In

Vidya , Now Poornima date for this month I am not sure - I think we will wait

for sister Anita for confirmation if it is Jan 13th or Jan 14th ,because date

might be different depending upon which country or what ? well I am not too

sure as right from day one Poornima date was fixed by sister Anita so we will

wait for her response --( I am from Canada). Now regarding timings of Gayatri

chanting we have selected that time 6.00 am because according to Swami Satwic

timings of chanting Gayatri mantra is at 4.00 am to 8.00 am and then 4.00pm to

8.00 pm(evening) . So that is the time we are chanting the Gayatri mantra on

Poornima days(6.00 am) now if you find difficult to chant on that specific time

6.00 am then definitely your preference of time is always there and there is no

bar for that it is upto you when you want to chant. In regards

to Sathya Narayan Katha well it is upto all our SPG group (Sai Prayer Group) to

decide, as time is the great factor because after 108 Gayatri chantings which

takes approx 30 to 40 minutes as Gayatri chantings must not be done with undue

haste- so I dont know what to say ? we have to discuss with all our devotees -

Brother's and Sister's what do you all sugeest about sister Viday Sathya

Narayan Katha which to be done on Poornima days just after Gayatri chantings -

your feed back greatly appreciated. Personally Sathya Sai Narayan Katha is not
