Guest guest
Sai Ram to everyone ... I too ... am so happy ... Dearest Madhusudan Nori .. yes I too am aware of the grey areas .. I have felt very inefficient for not having had the time of late to go back through the list appropriately .. My time has been very limited with the husband home and the 3 kids ... school and trying to start my own business .. for this I do apologize to everyone for this .. Please if anyone wishes to help me tighten up the list ( meaning duplicate names and ect .. ) I will gladly accept the help .. I have meant to spend this weekend going through this .. Some problems are .. is that people put in double and sometimes triple prayer requests in a week or two .. or I have found .. especially with Indian names .. sometimes its the same name but totally different person ...?? There was someone else who was nice enough to put togeather another format as well .. this too I'm going to back track and go through again thoroughly .... But again .. I certainly would love and appreciate any and all help that is given ... My biggest thing .. was whether to keep names on the list for such a length of time .. often I had planned on cycling out people at a certain time .. but it never seemed to really happen and I always got the feeling that Swami didn't want me too .. when I saw the message that I sent to everyone ... I felt deeply that swami did not want us to give up on anyone who has come to us for aide .. no matter how old the request .. I am sure in the future we will have to find some determining factor on this but I am waiting for a sign from Swami about this ... Anyways .. My love to all of my Sai Family .. I am deeply gratified that this group has come togeather in such love and cooperation to pray for others and that it has truly please Swami ... Your sister in Sai always Melody Madhu <nomavi > Thu Jan 5, 2006 6:20pm Re: [saibabanews] Great News for the Prayer Group!! Sairam Sister Melody, Thanks a lot for sharing this wonderful news. I take more than 45 minutes to read the names on the list before starting prayers on Thursdays and Sundays. The list has repetition of names and some events which have passed so they are no longer relevant. I have started to identify these grey areas, if acceptable I will send the list with my annotations so that you can peruse for making changes if you agree. As the list of Prayer request continues to grow (as it already has), it becomes very difficult to manage and to make the list meaningful every week. My opinion and suggestion is that we should tag each name on the list with a date of request and keep the name on the list for 4 weeks or 8 weeks only. 10.0pt;font-family:Arial;color:navy"> 10.0pt;font-family:Arial;color:navy">We always conclude the WEEKLY group prayer with “LOKA SAMASTHA SUKHINO BHAVANTU”. This can be chanted with the awareness and a wish that the prayer includes all historical requests that are not currently on the physical list. 10.0pt;font-family:Arial;color:navy"> 10.0pt;font-family:Arial;color:navy">SAI RAM …. 10.0pt;font-family:Arial;color:navy"> Sudhir Patel needOm (AT) bellsouth (DOT) net 10.0pt;font-family:Arial;color:navy">
