Re: [saibabanews] Namalikatha Japa

Sai Ram,

"Namalikha Japa" means to worship God by writing down his name...for

instance...to enchant God's name verbally...devotees use a holy bead

thread..similarly to enchant God's name ..one can write down His

name repeatedly..like"Om Sri Sai Ram"...u can even get note books

from putaparthi....which r meant for this purpose and once u fill

the complete book...vibhuti is distributed in those pages (filled

with God's name).

Sai Ram

Re: [saibabanews] Namalikatha Japa

Gueza Chavez ,

Namalikatha japam means writing the divine name of your choice. Eg:

writing of Mantra " Sai Ram".

Some individuals prefer writing of the name instead of reciting.

Thanks.

Re: [saibabanews] Namalikatha Japa

Sai Ram My Dear,

It is just doing the japa by writing the mantra on a copy page which

is dedicated to doing likhit (written) japa.

The Mantra for Likhitjapa - is short - OM SAI RAM or just SAI RAM

Sai Ram ~ Be Happy

Re: Gueza [saibabanews] Namalikatha Japa

Dear Gueza,

Om Sai Ram!

with ref. to your question on above topic, i am not sure if u

already got the answer yet or not. i am sorry 4 the delay in

replying to u......

However, the Namalikatha Japa is where a person writes a name of the

Lord or a mantra of any form of God one has faith and worship.

e.g. "Om Bhagwan Sri Satya Sai Babaya Namah", "Om Namaha

Shivaya", "Om Namaho Bhagwate Vasudevaya"," Om MahaGanpatey Namaha"

OR

Ram RAM RAM, Krishna Krishna Krishna.

This is same as Japa on Japamala ----another form of Sadhna.

If anyone is doing japa on mala donot need 2 perform this unless a

person has no hands on their mala at the time and can write instead

at that time.

so my dear, thats the answer to the best of knowledge. will b quite

happy 2 say more if u wish. can email me on my above email add.

until next time, keep tuned in Sai Naama.

with all the love and prayers wrapped in Festive season's wishes

sister sudesh

Thank you & God bless.
