Coincidence?

that he bought the stone at a fraction of the price. When the merchant went

home and looked at the precious stone it is no longer a precious stone but an

ordinary stone. He wa told by God that though you know the true monetay value

of the stone is very high, you offered only a fraction of the price so it

turned into a normal stone. Thats the end of the story , now coming to the

event which happened recently. At first I shall provide a little bit of

background information. I travel once in a week to a near by town by train

due to my work reasons . since I buy every week I became friendly with the

staff who issues the tickets. The cost of my travel ticket is $ 22 . I also

like to read books so yesterday I visited a charity second hand shop and I

bought four books, when I asked the

person in the shop the total cost of the books. She said one dollar. I felt

that the price is too less and I offered three dollars and I felt it is the

resonalbe price. I remembered the story of Swamy about the precious stone. So I

paid three dollars and then went to railway station to buy ticket. As ususl I

greeted the staff and after wards when I saw the ticket, I was surprised to

see I was charged the concession charge of $ 11 instead of $ 22, she said that

I have charged less and dont tell any one here. Though I did not like this to

be done because its againist my principles , I also did not like to embarass

her by saying loudly that she charged half price to my ticket . So I said

thanks and left . I reliased later that may be it is connected to my

previous incident in book shop, and may be Lord wants to acknoweledge and

reinforce in me the principle of fairness. Thank you for reading Sair ram
