MARKING THE ADVENT OF THE ETERNAL BEING

To Beloved Bhagawan, with Eternal Gratitude

A love poem authored by St.Paul, one of the foremost disciples of Lord Jesus

over 2000 years ago sums up...

“Love never gives up...but keeps going to the end”.

When Prasanthi Nilayam and the entire Sai fraternity across the world, is

gearing up for the momentous occasion of 80th Birthday of Bhagawan, an attempt

to unravel the phenomenon of Bhagawan, seems a daunting task!

How can one explain this 5’ 2” physical frame, draped in flowing orange robe,

with a crown of ‘haloed’black hair, who has been ceaselessly engaged in

selfless, philanthropic

activities irrespective of any barriers or distinctions; who has been preaching

to men and women over the years that they are verily Divine; who has been most

mercifully granting the Divine benediction of His coveted darshan to the human

folk…promising them the ultimate goal of human life…salvation? Perhaps, from

all that, we, humans have had over the years from this God on earth, we can

rightly describe Him as

LIGHT FOR THE WORLD LOVE FOR THE HEARTS

Light that is ever shining in brilliance and Love that is ever

conquering…..Lifting the human souls to the destined shore of liberation.

For He has come to conquer human hearts with His main armour, Pure Divine Love.

As was written by St.Paul, Love never gives up…but keeps going to the end…And Love

eludes all definitions. It is beyond the realm of human imagination and to know

it, one has to experience it. And here, we stand with a chance to experience

the Divine, Nectarous Love…Love that shares...Love that confers...Love that

conquers... “Love is God...God is Love...Live in Love...” says Bhagawan.

Bhagawan has been LOVE walking on two feet. He has traversed the length and

breadth of this planet earth, not on foot, but from ‘Heart to heart’. …And this

Divine Love encompasses the entire creation. Bhagawan says:

My Life is My Message and My Message is Love. …And He adds that He has come to

light the lamp of Love in our hearts.

The term birthday assumes significance only from the physical standpoint and for

Bhagawan, who has been ‘with us’ all through the ages, as birthless, ageless and

deathless Master…it is nothing but another occasion to confer His Divine

benediction upon His devotees to make them all the more happy.

Over the years…over and over again, it has been HIS greater magnanimity which

has allowed His followers to celebrate His physical Advent as His Birthdays.

These have been occasions of greater joy, as this God in human frame comes down

to the level of humans, accepting their love filled greetings and sometimes

even prayers for longer life?! Yes, He does this for the happiness of His

devotees.

The Cosmic Creator who has encased His being in this physical frame has repeated

time and again, that He is not His physical body and His physical body belongs

to His devotees. While devotees keep adding numerals year after year to his

physical age, He has been the same all through, healing wounds and transforming

the hearts and thus guiding humanity with His natural ease. Yes, He has come to

shepherd His flocks, to shepherd them to the Valley of Supreme Peace, to the

dawn of age-old wisdom, “I am That”.

It is time to introspect…to mend us to righteous ways…offer our hearts filled

with Love…Love that is unconditional…for Divinity richly deserves it…and let’s

be ever grateful! forever!!!
