We all, tell proudly, greatly - I'm a BABA devotee.... Are there any min. qualites that the opposer expects in a baba devotee?

"Show" service or 'Social' Service ?? - topic encouraged me, writing this mail.

 

Here is my experiences, or, views - pls. dont mistake me, otherwise.

 

I'd problems, at work/job, and, praying to BABA, like, get me an opportunity, to

work with BABA devotees (as my Managers, and, Bosses) - I was with the feeling

like, ALL BABA DEVOTEES are kind-hearted, ego-less, filled with human-values.

 

I was thinking like, my job/work tensions/problems will be solved, if my

seniors, and, managers are BABA devotees.

 

For my great wonder, when changed company, one of the MD was a BABA devotee -

He, PROUDLY, GREATLY, OPENLY tells like, he's a BABA DEVOTEE, SINCE HIS BIRTH.

But, from the day one, i'd problems, after joining there. Somehow, as there

were partnership issues, that MD has resigned, and, has left the company, and,

started some other, on his own.

 

Once again, for my great wonder, the next boss too, a BABA devotee - he seldom

tells/talks helping others - Many a times, i was requesting him, like, hiring

guys, who're into deep troubles, and, looking for help, such that helping

atleast few. - But, he used to insist, to hire his candidates, other than the

ones who were short-listed by means of interviews, or, who are into deep

troubles.

 

After that, i was jobless - and, no BABA devotee helped me, though, my

superiors/bosses, who can decide things, who are at the top-management, are too

BABA devotees - (who previously made enumerous promises to me, reg. my job,

growth,and, many other things.) - i was not informed atleast in advance -

After that, i was asking for help, my ex-MD, who started his own new company,

telling him, like, i can work for any-salary, but, he was acting like, he's

keen in helping me, but, he's talking like, he's helpless (He's the CEO of the

company, that he started, after resigining.) - he was showing false reasons.

 

Telling openly, like, "I'm a BABA DEVOTEE" -

i understand like, many feels this like, a PRESTIGE, and, a GREAT THING, but,

many.... many.... dont see others, just as human beings.

 

I feel few of the minimum qualities, a BABA devotee should follow - atleast for

openly, telling/using BABA's name:

Kind-hearted,

loving,

helping the need,

synchronizing the talks, and, actions

 

Dont mistake me, i'm not commenting/arguing someone, but, i was thinking like,

"WE CAN TAKE GRANTED - A BABA DEVOTEE MUST BE NICE PERSON, WITH THE ABOVE

QUALITIES.", Now, i understand like, we should not take things granted, like

that. There're many good, and, nice persons too - who're not BABA devotees.

 

Pardon me, if i'm mistaken, or, wrong,

 

Pls. correct me, if i'm thinking on the wrong-tracks.

 

(I do agree, believing someone, and, expecting somehing (even

kindness/humanity/curtesy) from someone is not good.

Also, commenting someone too is not good.

But, this discussion encouraged me, to write my inner-feelings, and, i thought,

one may think deeper into themselves, and, may question themselves, and, may

correct themselves. - only with this idea, i'm writing this mail.)

Whatever you said strikes chords in my heart.

 

Swami has given you a number of experiences to convey to you on what

we shouldn't be like if we get to positions of authority.

 

We can only pray to him to ensure that we follow the five human

values even in thick of troubles and challenges.

 

Indeed the world is an arena/gymnasium to live human values...

RASO VAI SAH!

 

Bhagawan Baba says " Raso Vai Sah!" which means " only in purity of

feeling does Divine sweetness dwells!"

 

We must always see purity in the actions of others, devotees and non

devotees. Who are we to judge and condemn others? When we point one

finger at another, we are pointing four fingers at ourselves.

 

Baba tells us all " There are many ways to load your chariot with

me, more than I could hope you to learn in one lifetime " seeing

Purity in all actions of others is wonderful to experience....but

even more is KNOWNING that all actions , regardless of their kind

contain elements of PURITY. even actions that are bitter or foul..."

 

Remember also what Lord Jesus Christ said to the crowd assembled to

throw stones at Sainte Marie Madeleine: " Wait!The one who has never

sinned should throw the first stone!"

 

" You will celebrate My Birthday on the day you have opened yourself

to KNOWLEDGE" Bhagawan Baba says. Let us open our heart to

knowledge...to the Divine.

 

Please let us NOT throw stones at each other...LET US LIVE IN

This is the world. Swami's devotees [We should say followers as most

of us have not the qualities of a Devotee] are also part of this

society and we have imbibed the qualities of our fellow human beings

in the society. Before ourselves proclaiming Swami's

devotees/followers, we should think twice, are we ?????

 

Brother, i feel we have nothing to do but pray Swami and follow his

teachings.... which Swami emphasised in his last birthday message. I

have also similar problems with socalled devotees who just preach

something in our Mandir/Samithy but practice different things in

their official/business lives. I cried few hours back when I saw

Swami speaking in his frail voice in HIS last birthday discourse in

SANSKAR TV, advising us to practice what HE is preaching. How

many years more we will take to practice Swami ???????????????????

For my point of view let tell you everything happed it for the good

never thing if you are a devotee that mean you have to do everything

Sai Ram Dear Ranganath,

 

I know how you feel because I too have experienced this. In fact I have no

doubt that many Baba devotees have gone thorough this. In my line of job

(legal line), I come across a lot of people who can be real nasty (pls

excuse me for using such a word) but it is shocking when I know so and so is

a Baba devotee. I know it is sad when these so called devotees do not

practice what Baba preaches but who are we to judge them. Judgment is for

the law of karma to decide. Each of us will have to pay for any wrongdoing

done by us whether we are Baba devotees or not. May I humbly suggest when

you come across these kind of people you think this way that 'maybe these

devotees do not see any wrongdoing in themselves and do not realise they are

wrong'. So pray to Baba to help us have more love and understanding so that

we may not be affected by these people. Pray also that they may be

enlightened to spread the message of love the way Baba wants us to.
