Show service or 'Social' Service ??

the state samiti and zonal samiti presidents and office bearers ---intensely

vying for 'statistical outputs' and 'photo ops' during many "social service"

activities undertaken by Sai Samitis in various parts. ( Pls note that no

hard feeling here ---since Sai Samitis ALWAYS do exemplary work worldwide!)

But is it out of TRUE LOVE ? TOTALLY UNSELFISH? Egoless? Many a time , the

answer woukld be "NO! " Imagine to what levels we people must have

'degenerated' into ...for Baba to make such a comment ---on his 80th Birthday

!! This shows the widespread lack of purity and real devotion. Most

Devotees and devotion ...these days ...are also only "Part time" --as i said in

some of my earlier mails. This includes YOU and ME too ! Why do i say so?

Think deep ...do YOU really remeber BABA 100% ...with all intensity of feeling

....ALL the Time ? Always? In All Ways ..wherever YOU are? Whatever (

circumstances) YOU are in ? However ( mental mood or physical condition ) YOU

are in ? So there lies the "Part-time" approach ....and lack of inner Purity

in YOURSELF. Am I being crystal clear ? Some of you may feel

ego pricks ...but i sincerely and lovingly hasten to add ...that ONLY BY LOOKING

SHARPLY and DEEPLY at OURSELVES ...can we remove the DUST gathered on our SOUL

for lifetimes! Why hesitate ..even now? Like NIKE says ... "Just DO IT" !

...in the RIGHT spirit ! ...'NOW' is the Right moment ! ...Right NOW

I am not part of any samithi or seva organisation.

Yet I wish to add: All said and done, one must admit

that swami's mission of saving humanity from self

destruction is working, just imagine the number of

people that attended and got his blessings on the 80th

year of advent of Sri Sai Baba how they were all

accommodated, fed(free food from 18th

onwards)transported from different parts of India as

well as from other countries, how sincerely they were

attending to their alloted duties(seva dhal,

celebrations in charge,people who managed the stalls,

participants' rehearsals etc)

I dont think that he commented on social service

rendered by sai seva organisations. Swami says dont be

negative, samithis have certainly done their best. If

there were mistakes Swami will surely and certainly

correct them. Hope we will start looking into the

positive side by developing the qualities of unity,

purity and divinity and continue to seek His divine
