Sathya Sai water scheme for Godavari districts

PUTTAPARTHI: Sathya Saibaba will declare functional a part of the Rs

150-crore drinking water project taken up by Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust for

the benefit of tribals and poor in the upland and backward areas of East and

West Godavari districts on Wednesdasy, on the occasion of his 80th birthday.

 

The mega project envisaged to provide safe drinking water to 220 villages in

East Godavari and 230 villages in West Godavari district was taken up earlier

this year and is expected to be completed in all respected by March-end next

year, according to the functionaries of the trust.
