Sairam Brothers and Sisters,

This is with reference to a previous mail that i've send some months

ago, which spoke about the idea of evoking/unweiling spirituality at

workplace, and how we can be messengers of the same.

Thankyou all for the feedback provided then, which helped to bring

about more clarity to the idea.

After putting some more thoughts on the idea and the feedback, the

following is what come to my mind:

---

Foremost, We should evoke our spirituality from our own experiences of

our spiritual nature, so that we are qualified enough to be messenger

of this Spirit@Work concept to others. So we need to do that first.

One of the ways in which we can do that is by using the resource

materials provided by Debra and William Miller that is available for

downloads at the Global Dharma Center (www.globaldharma.org) site, free

of cost. These include a number of self-training modules that Mr/Ms

Marjuna Hendriks has once mentioned.

One of the programmes include Human Values at Work which can be

accessed at the following link:http://www.globaldharma.org/hvw-home.htmOne can

find an invitation to the programme, which we can take for

ourselves. This can be send to others too.

In addition, there is a page which are a collection of articles on

Spirit (AT) Work (DOT) we can use each of these articles as daily training

sessions for us/others. The link for the same ishttp://www.globaldharma.org/ssrw-home.htm

Of course, there can be other methods of evoking our spirituality at

our workplace.

---

We can start gifting "Man Management - The Gita of Management (a

collection of discourses given by Swami on Management)" to our

colleagues/ superiors and others at workplace, and students/ teachers

of management schools.

---

One of us can volunteer to type and send a small section/ collection of

paragraphs from the above mentioned book to the group on a daily/weekly

basis so that all members of this Sai mail group benefit. This would

also be of help to those members who forward mails from Sai groups to

others/other group who are not part of this Sai mail group.

---

We can send resource materials which are available on the

internet. An example could be a white paper available on Buddhist

Economics/Total Corporate Responsibility at www.wie.org/business

---

One of us can volunteer to send one article from "Conversation

Starters" available at http://www.globaldharma.org/ssrw-home.htmto this group on

a daily/weekly basis so that all of us can benefit.

---

We can send invitations through Tell a Friend to our colleagues/

friends/ relatives etc about the daily Sai Inspires bulletin send by

Radio Sai.

---

In addition, we can also manifest spirituality by following a "Triple

Bottomline" approach, that takes care of Economic, Environmental and

Social impacts of an organisation.

We can share links/messages/articles across the world which speaks

about the stories of brotherhood and human values. We can support

environmental initiatives. For example sprading word about the

following site:http://www.undoit.org/home.cfmand also by signing on the site.

Or the following link:

http://www.pewclimate.org/press_room/speech_transcripts/transcript_swiss_re.cfm

On the social front, we can spread messages of stories/incidents that

speak about Human Values at Work/ Brotherhood of Man. We can also

spread wonderful messages that are posted at Radio Sai website on Seva

activities etc by using "Email this page" link.

We can remind ourselves and others about HungerSite

(www.hungersite.com) and also spread messages about Economic Poverty

Indicators (http://www.unmillenniumproject.org/facts/index.htm) .

These are only some examples, there can be many in the internet.

---

These are some thoughts that came to my mind. There is no hard and fast

rule to any of the things mentioned above.

Looking forward to hear from everyOne.

Namaste...

To spread Swami's message of love in a small way, I have been sending Swami's

"Daily thought for the day" - as written in Prasanthinilayam to my colleagues

on the internal mail of my company which reaches nearly 150-200 people in

Andhra Pradesh besides my circle of relatives and friends. Invariably on days

possible this thought is supplemented by the inspirational stories sent by our

sai bretheren on this website.

This is well received by most of them. A lot of people expressed happiness at

receiving such good thoughts and said it brightens their day.

I also keep a lot of pocket calenders which I give to customers with whom I

interact with a prayer to Swami to take care of them at all times. Whenever I

handshake with any person I hold an extra second and pray Swami to bless this

person with all good things in life.

A small gesture this, I thought will do. Felt relevant to express in this

context so that others can send this Daily thought in their circle. (Should

anyone feel embarrased to send "Saibaba thoughts" to colleagues better to mark

address in blind cc column so that no one knows how many people are receiving

the message and no fuss will be made on that in offices - to start with. ajith

Infact, somebody gave me the book Man Management just the day before you sent this email.

I volunteer to send thoughts from this book on a weekly basis. A discussion on

these thoughts would help us gain much more.
