I dont know why He is so compassionate. Don't know what would He gain by loving

this imperfect being.

He has a thousand ways and means to save you. Unimaginable.

I was planning to sing a song for the Diwali festival celebration here in our

company. I have been learning music from quite sometime but I never sang on

stage. And so I was hesitant to take this up cuz the audience would be atleast

500 comprising both Indians and non-Indians and I am not completely confident

about the song.

And then one mail came from a Sai sister in our group - viji. She asked me how

my preparation is going. I answered, "I am trying".

She immediately reminded me of Swami's words: "If you keep saying - "I will

try", you become dry".

I answered her back, "OK....Not trying. I am gonna sing"

I took it as Swami's command and practised for 3 days continuously. I went to

the rehearsal the day before and sang there. The sound system was disastrous.

(By the way, the song I chose was "Roja jaaneman/Kaadhal Rojaave/Naa Cheli

rojaave" from an Indian movie called 'Roja'). I started worrying a little then

cuz I have absolutely no familiarity with managing sound on stage. If something

goes wrong even with the microphone, I would have absoultely no clue.

The day of the festival came and just before going to the venue, I checked the

Sai mail (Yeah, our mail :))

Then the next messenger's mail came - from another Sai sister --- Meera this

time! She replied to one of my mails saying, "Cry for Swami and not to Him!". I

read it and it came to my mind when I was praying to Swami just before stepping

out of the house.

I was actually saying to Swami, "Swami! Please take care of the sounds. Please

see to it that there will not be any technical problems" and then Meera's words

came to my mind. I changed my prayers. I said to Him, "I am gonna sing to You -

and that is it. I am not bothered whether it turns out well or not, whether

people receive it or not."

I went on to the stage and started singing. As expected the microphone was

pathetic. I just said to myself, "Swami, I am only singing to You. You are the

only ONE I want to please."

And you know what happened? Suddenly the sound turned clear and my voice blended

with the music perfectly, I could hear it. And then after it was all over,

people came to tell me that it was splendid. I wanted to tell them, what was

splendid was not my singing but His Love that saved me on time. I ran to the

person who was arranging sound for me. He told me that even he was helpless not

knowing how to correct the problem and then it got corrected 'miraculously'.

This is the word he used. But I only knew whose miracle it was.

The ever vigilant Father has taught me two precious lessons thru this incident

using viji and meera as His instruments. When You do something for Him, He will

take care of it all.

This group is a blessing for all Sai devotees.

What remains still as a question mark to me is the limit of His compassion. How

many ever times, I fail my words, He never fails His. Never. He keeps loving

me. He still has confidence in this always-faltering soul. He still loves me.

Oh, yes. He does.

JAI SAIRAM

PS: Shall I tell you, what was the most happiest moment for me at the event?

Actually this is a song which the singer sings in the thoughts of his beloved,

whose name is Roja. The name Roja comes thrice in the song. I kept the first

two times as it is, but the final word, I changed it to Sai. After my

performance, one audience came and told me that of all the three times, 'Sai'

sounded the best!!!! :))))

Can you imagine my joy? :)

After reading your article i had so much tears in my eyes. Swami is love and

esp. when you changed Roja to Sai. How beautiful it would have sounded?
