If this is not the way to please let me know. Thank you. KLNSwami-- K.L.N.Swami7610 Greenboro Dr, Apt 6Melbourne, Florida-32904Res:- 321-723-1508 When Dr. K.L.N. Swami spoke recently at the Unity church on Merritt Island, Florida, his audience was treated to a deeply personal and moving account of the devotee's 46-year association with Sathya Sai Baba. The 76-year-old retired professor and former principal of Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning told how he was introduced to Sai Baba in 1969 and began to hold bhajans in his home. "I plunged into Baba and never looked behind, even until today," he said. Dr. Swami described his early days as a follower of Sai Baba and his role as a founding member of the ___ organization. He told how Sai Baba called him to teach at the university's Whitefield campus soon after he had started a private school in Puntapati (??). He was overcome with emotion as he described the miracles that took place in his home and how Sai Baba healed his son and later helped his family through a difficult period when his wife was dying. Experiences like these "make you strong in your faith," he said. "I have seen Swami in all his glory, in his highest form. I saw him very ordinarily human and superliterally divine." "Swami's words we have to carefully follow," he added, encouraging his audience to listen to Sai Baba lectures online at www.radiosai.org. Teresa Kulas of Merritt Island was among those touched by Dr. Swami's presentation. "When I was listening to him, I felt really connected, heart-to-heart. What struck me about him was his humility. The two hours that he talked seemed like a few minutes. Each time that he paused to get his composure, I cried. I felt very connected. He was pretty awesome." Patricia Spears of Cocoa said, "[Dr.] Swami to me was the personification of the ideal devotee. He's very gracious, learned, humble. And to stand up there and cry, as he did, was physical. As he was talking about it, he was reliving it. Baba said that as you relive your experiences with me, you are having darshan again." "During his talk, he was showing the unfiltered essence of Baba," said Robert Buck of Merritt Island. "We were able to get a better visualization of Baba, and he showed his passion of being a devotee to help fulfill Baba's mission and purpose. His demeanor was all humility, and it was an honor to be with him." "I believe more and have more faith in God's incarnation as Sai Baba after listening to his talk," said Yolanda DeCosta. Dr. Swami's appearance at the church was arranged by Loleta DuGoff, president of the Sathya Sai Baba Center of Cocoa, Florida, where he has spoken several times. At one of these study group meetings, an incident took place that is worth noting here. Dr. Swami was being introduced to the group when he met 92-year-old Esther Van Buren. Impressed with her age and interest in spirituality, he blessed her in Sai Baba's name. Ms. Van Buren was wearing extremely dark, wrap-around sunglasses to protect her eyes. For seven years she had suffered from an irreversible condition informally known as "UV-itis" that made her eyes extremely sensitive to light. At the next meeting, Ms. Van Buren came without the sunglasses. She excitedly told everyone she had been healed. During the week, she said, an eye specialist discovered that her condition had completely disappeared. To what did she attribute this healing, he asked. She told him that she had received a blessing from Sai Baba.
