Guest guest Posted October 30, 2005 Report Share Posted October 30, 2005 One other thing I forgot to mention is regd my son,Prasanth, who had an accident on the same day,hours be4 the power was restored.It was the Gayathri mantra that saved his life. He was out cycling at the side of the road walking path) with his friends just outside my residence. I had just gone into the house to my little boy who was calling for me.It is not a main, busy road. Cars rr parked at the sides of the road. It's basically a common residence road in our community. He was crossing the road after being sure there were no cars. A car came quite at a speed prohibited for a 10mph road. It bumped onto my son with a screeching noise loud enough to wake the neighbourhood. My neighbour next door who was outside came running to me. I cld see how frantic and worried she was. I knew that minute something was wrong. I felt weak and cld already see in my mind the picture of my son covered in blood. I kept chanting Gayathri mantra and holding on to BABA as I walked out. My neighbour and a few others assured me that my son is unhurt. I was still not contented with their assurance. All the other neighbours surrounded him. I was really and truly relief when I found him totally unhurt. Thank God, he was also wearing a helmet. He was just in shock and was shivering. The driver of the car too was in shock and offered to take him to the hospital. My son seemed absolutely unhurt,unbruised and fine and was infact out playing in my neighbour's house the very next hour. I was amazed how my son shockingly escaped this. He cld have hurt his legs as the car bumped onto the cycle and his legs first. Even the bicycle seemed undamaged. How can I ever thank BABA? How can I ever express to u this wonder of the Gayathri mantra just by mere words? My son's life was saved and hrs later, the power was restored bringing our lives back to life.
