When a prisoner is moved from one place to another, he is accompanied by two

constables, isn't that true? When man, who is a prisoner in this world, is

moved from one place to another, he too is accompanied by egoism and

attachment. When he can move about without these two, he is a free man,

liberated from prison. Nearness to God can only be attaianed after ridding

oneself of 'I' and 'mine'.

appear, our special issue of H2H celebrating the Eightieth Anniversary of the

Advent of the Sri Sathya Sai Avatar. Please make sure to log on to our web site

The Glories of the Lord are infinite, and it is not possible even for saints to

describe them in full. Conscious of this, we freely admit that what we offer is

not even an infinitesimal part of an infinitesimal part of Infinity. But then,

we are not talking here of quantity or we? Is not one sweet smile of Swami

enough to send us all into infinite Bliss? Thus, we hope that when you browse

through this “Birthday Special”, you would be able to relive your

own direct and personal experiences of Bhagavan in your own special way. That

is the beauty about God – He relates to each and every individual in

exactly the way the individual concerned relates to God. This is what Swami as

Krishna said in the Gita and that is what He is saying even now.

May we take this opportunity to mention that a more detailed sampling of the

Glories of the Lord may be had via the five-volume Souvenir Set that is

available for sale in a special counter near the North Block in Prashanti

Nilayam? Also, we are preparing a comprehensive film entitled THE GLORY OF HIS

STORY, that would attempt to fill devotees with Ananda through yet another

medium. Watch out for it!

The 23rd of November is also the Birthday of Radio Sai, and we are so happy and

feel so privileged to be at your service 24 / 7 in all parts of the world. We

know we stand no comparison to the saints of the past who captured the glory of

the Avatars in song and poetry. However, we strive every moment to spread

Swami’s Love and Bliss in every way possible. In this effort, we have

received much support and encouragement from many, and we wish, on this

occasion, to express our deepest gratitude to all of them.

Wishing you a happy month ahead and hoping you would live with Swami every

single moment, wherever you are. See you again next week.
