Guest guest
But you can pray and do a mantra at anytime of day. If you were on a plane and you wanted protection, and it wasnt during the Sathwa guna period-would you just forgo your prayers and say "oh well". ? No. Gayatri must be done constantly. This is what Swami says. Or saying the name of God, this can be done at anytime too. Everyone is entitled to join this world prayer group or not. If you feel more comfortable doing it at 5-6 am your local time, then do so. Sai Ram
Guest guest
Often devotees think that doing somethig at the time coinciding with the time In Prasanthi will be better. This is not correct. If the lord wanted the world to abide by the time of Prasanthi - the sun wd have obeyed it - but the sun still rises at the prescibed local time. If prayers were to be at the same time all over the world - the Akhanda Bhajan wd have started at the same time all over the world - but it starts on the second Saturday of November at 6 PM local time. Besides this if we have to do a mantra japa in the Braham Mahurta - it is around 4 AM in the early hours of the morning - everywhere in the world - because the world is still sleeping in those areas where it is 4 AM - so you have a realtive peace while doing the Japa - the same Japa to be done at 4AM prasanthi time - may not be all that peaceful - if your local time is 4 PM or 3 PM or 1 PM - when there is activity in your surrounding - you will not be able to concentrate. Abide by the divine laws - your local time - is the best time when you are in any country ~ home or foreign.
