The Little Things....

Too often we don't realise what we have until it is gone; Too often we wait too

late to say "I am sorry - I was wrong."

Sometimes we hurt the ones we hold dearest to our hearts; And we allow foolish

things to tear our lives apart.

Far too many times we let unimportant things into our minds; And then it's

usually too late to see what made us blind.

So be sure that you let people know how much they mean to you; Take that time to

say the words before your time is through.

Be sure that you appreciate everything you've got, And be thankful for the

little thingsin life that mean a lot.

Remain Blessed!

It is so true that little things mean a lot when they are lost. Achild- parent

-spouse reationships live in eternal daily fire an dbattle. Once the

relationship is lost then they regret life long.

We have come across a young lad who is just visiting USA on business for 3

months. Landed here on the 15th of August and is leaving the world as he

developed a viral meningo encephalitis that caused complete Brain damage

inspite of ICU care. We found about him as his whol;e family are SAI DEVOTEES

and came to see us at our Center to bond and for counselling. Mother was

talking to em about how Dad and son did not see eye-eye although there is

tremendous love. It was heart breaking fro us for teh alst 4 days to see this

agony that the parents are going through.

Ofcourse everything is destiny. A healthy, young Swami's student at one time is

no more over an illness overnight. Not a single medicine could bring him back.

I am relatively new to this group so I have been hesitant about writing in. But

these particular words tugged at my heartstrings so hard that I had to write

today.

I had a younger brother with whom I was extremely close. Then 2 yesrs ago we had

a silly argument over the dishes in the sink and we sulked with each other for 2

days. Then on saturday night on the way back from the club with his mates his

car was involved in a head on collision. He was killed outright. Well it took

me a long time to get over his death. But you know my biggest regret was that

we had not made up sooner & that I did not have a chance to tell him how

special he was to me before he went out of the door that night.

That is why I implore you all - do not wait until its too late. These so called

'little things' are extremely important in life.

I really appreciate all your messages & poems Madhvi Sai - they touch on ALL the

teachings of Sai Baba in such a subtle yet profound way. You are a very special

person and I hope you can share your experiences with us some day!

Dear sister Natasha,

Thanks for writing in and sharing your experience. Sad

to hear about your brother...siblings are so bound up

with one's gut...I can imagine how heart-wrenching the

experience must have been for you. Please don't look

back with regret, I'm sure your brother only feels the

love and closeness you shared. Remember what Krishna

says in the Gita "The soul can never be cut to pieces

by any weapon, nor burned by fire, nor moistened by

water, nor withered by the wind. He is everlasting,

present everywhere, unchangeable, immovable and

eternally the same. O descendant of Bharata, he who

dwells in the body is eternal and can never be slain.

Knowing this, you should not grieve for the body."

I'm sure Baba must have been such a solace to you

through those difficult times. His comfort and

teachings still the storms in our heart and lessen the

impact of the world and worldly griefs on our

subconscious. His Love is big enough to absorb

anything and return only light.

Hold tight to the Lotus Feet and always look forward.

Be happy!

love,

Mangala

Just the way the TFTD from Prashanti, & Sai Inspires from Radio Sai, Sister

Madhvi's messages too are an essential reading for me & my family.

May Swami bless us all.
