04 Oct 2005MorningSwami came at 7.40 am. The students and staff of the institute

were dressed up in the Tee Shirts given to them by Swami day before yesterday,

ready to start the Grama Seva. Swami went round the crowd and got down in the

lobby and sat listening to the Veda Chantings till 8 am. The He moved towards

His room. He signalled the students to get going for the Grama Seva and they

went in a procession around the Mandir and Swami saw them off sitting in front

of the interview room. Bhajans started at 8.30 am. Swami came out at 9.10 am

and again went round the devotees and left Sai Kulwant Hall. Mangala Aarathi

was performed at 9.20 am. AfternoonIn the afternoon, Swami came at 2.40 pm. He

drove straight to the interview room, after crossing the ladies side. The first

lady from kazhakasthan was there and pobably she was called for interview. Swami

came out at 4 pm and sat till 4,30 pm in the lobby.

Bhajans started at 5 pm. Swami left Sai Kulwant Hall at 5.15 pm and drove to

General Hospital as today happens to be their anniversary day. Mangala Aarathi

was performed at 5.25 pm. Swami returned to Poornachandra Hall from GH at 6.10

Events at Prashanthi Nilayam 05 & 06 Oct 200505

Oct 2005Morning Swami came in the morning at 7.40 am and got down in the lobby.

He sat for about 5 minutes in the lobby listening to the veda chants and moved

to His room. Bhajans were held from 8.30 am and Swami left at around 9.10 am.

Mangala Aarathi was performed at 9.20 am. AfternoonIn the afternoon, Swami came

at 2.40 pm and after passing the lady devotees, came to the lobby and got down,

He sat in the lobby till 2.55 pm and went to His room. He then came to the

Bhajan Hall at around 4 pm and sat there for nearly an hour talking to the

boys. Bhajans started at 5.05 pm and Swami left at 5.20 pm. Mangala Aarathi was

performed at 5.30 pm. The preparations for the Yagna which is scheduled to start

at Poornachandra Hall is almost completed. 06

Oct 2005MorningThe yagna starts today. The local

Nadaswaram group started playing immediately after the Omkar was over. The

priests who have come for the Yagna, came in procession and went into the

Bhajan Hall at 7.20 am. Sai Geetha was decorated and brought to Sai Kulwant

Hall. She was waiting for Swami near the lion statues. Swami came at 7.40 am

and after making the full round, got down in the lobby. After a brief stop

there, Swami went into the Bhajan Hall where the priests have assembled. The

Boys started in a procession at 8 25 am. Sai Geetha led the procession,

followed by the boys chanting the Vedas and the priests came in the last. They

went out of Sai Kulwant Hall through the Dasavatharam gate and turned right and

entered Poornachandra Hall. The devotees followed them to Poornachandra Hall.

The Yagna started with the priests creating Agni by rubbing the two wooden

pieces in the traditional way and swami was sitting in the right back corner of

the stage watching the start of the Yagna which was around 9 am. Swami left the

stage at 9.20 am after the Yagna started. The Yagna was over at 10.30 am. It was

announced by Prof Anil Kumar that the evening “Prashanthi Vidwan Maha Sabha”

program will start at 4 pm at Sai Kulwnt Hall. AfternoonSwami came in the

afternoon at 3.40 pm. He sat listening to the Vedas till 4.15 pm and asked the

boys to move the chair to his room. After going near the room, the chair was

turned and Swami came back to the lobby. The program started at 4.20 pm with

Sri Sanjay Sahney, Principal, Brindavan Campus introducing the speakers for the

evening. There were speeches by Sri Anil Gokak, Vice Chancellor followed by Sri

Deepak Anand and Dr. Ravi Kumar. After the speeches were over at 5.45 pm, Swami

asked Sri Anil Kumar to announce that since it is already late, Swami would give

His speech the next day. There was alround applause for the announcement. After

the announcement, Swami asked the mikes and table to be brought and rose to

speak! Swami said that the

devotees are extremely happy to hear the speakers and Swami is also happy to

hear. He said the the devotees are happy that He is standing and talking and He

is going to make them happier tomorrow at 9 am! He said He will speak tomorrow

and concluded at 6 pm with the Bhajan “Prema Mudhita Manase Kaho”. He asked the

boys to distribute the Prasadam and made Sri Anil Kumar to announce that all

devotees should take the Prasadam and leave. Bhajans started at 6.10 pm and

Mangala Aarathi was performed after two songs and Swami left Sai Kulwant Hall.

Events at Prashanthi Nilayam - 07 & 08 Oct 200507

Oct 2005MorningThe local Nadaswaram group started playing from 5.25 am. Swami

came in the morning at 8.35 am. He got down in the lobby and sat for few

minutes there giving Darshan to the devotees. He then went into the interview

room after talking to the Vice Chancellor for some time. The devotees then

moved to Poornachandra Hall where the Yagna was already going on. Swami came to

the Poornachandra Hall Dias at 9 am. At 9.10 am, Swami went to the right side

corner of the dais where the pooja was going on. The priest and his wife

performed aarathi to Swami with all the priests and students group chanting

Veda Hymns and Swami sat there listening to the chantings till 9.25 am. Swami

then left the dais and the morning program came to an end. It was announced

that the Prasanthi Vidwan Maha Sabha program would start in the evening at 4

pm.

AfternoonIn the afternoon, Swami came at 3.40 pm. After taking the full round,

Swami came to the lobby. Veda chants continued till 4 pm. The program started

at 4 pm as announced. Vice Chancellor, Sri Anil Gokak announced that there

would be two speakers for the evening. Sri Rangarajan, faculty in the School of

Business Management and Sri Shashank Shah spoke till 6 pm. Swami started the

discourse at 5 pm and spoke till 5.55 pm. The main theme of the discourse was

‘Bhagavatham” and what happened after the passing away of Lord Krishna. He

concluded the discourse saying that with God’s Grace, anything can be achieved

and one can be victorious. He asked the devotees to say ‘Jai” and there was

continuous shouting of Jai from the devotees for the next 5 minutes. Bhajans

started at 6 pm and after two Bhajans, aarathi was performed and Swami left Sai

Kulwant Hall at 6.15 pm. 08

Oct 2005MorningAgain the Nadaswaram group was playing

from 5.25 am. Swami came in the morning at 8.05 am. He went round the devotees

and stopped the car in front of the interview room. For a long time He was

talking to Sri Anil Gokak from the car. He then got down and went inside His

room. Devotees moved to Poornachandra Hall. Swami came to Poornachandra Hall at

8.55 am. As yesterday, He took aarathi amidst the chanting of Vedas by the

priests and students and left the dais at 9.20 am. It was announced that the

Prasanthi Vidwan Maha Sabha program would start at 4 pm. AfternoonSwami same in

the afternoon at 3.40 pm. The program started at 4 pm with the Vice Chancellor

announcing the name of 3 speakers for the evening. The first one was Sri Sanjay

Sahney, Principal, Brindavan Campus, followed by Sri Karthik Ramesh, from I MBA

Class and Sri Sai Giridhar, II M.Sc students. Swami then asked Sri Gokak to

announce that Sri Poppat from UK also will speak. The speeches were over at 6

pm. Swami then asked the table to be

brought and started the discourse at 6 pm. He continued from where He left

yesterday and described the happenings immediately after the coronation of

Parikshith as the Emperor. Swami concluded the Discourse at 6.55 pm. Bhajans

started at 6.55 pm and apples were distributed as Prasadam to all devotees.

After the Prasadam Distribution was over at 7.10 pm, aarathi was performed and

Swami left.
