Gayatri Mantra Chanting strarting Oct 16th-Poornima day

We will be chanting Gaytri mantra on Oct 16th (Poornima day) by Swami's grace.

 

So it will be once a month and the details as follows:-

 

Time - 6.00 AM ( this is also good time according to Swami for chanting) no

matter where you are or which country you belong just follow your own country

time zone.

 

How many times?- 108 times chanting

 

Loka Samastha Sukhino Bhavanthu- 28 times.

 

Shanti prayer- 3 times ( Aum Shanti Shanti Shanti)

 

Now to all our SPG group - this Gyatri mantra chanting will be once a month(Poornima day)

there will be no other prayers on that day except Loka Samstha Sukhino Bhavanthu.

 

Thurs and Sundays it will be as usual same prayers which we are doing.

 

So please let me know your suggestion as we have very limited time-

Bhavantu 28 times ending with Om Shanti Shanti Shanti.

Count me in for chanting Gayatri Mantra

108 times on Purnima days. It goes with out saying that we start our chanting

session with chanting Omkar 3 times, Ganesha prayer 3 time and end with Loka

Samastha Sukhino Bhavantu 3 times and Om Shanti Shanti Shantihi.

This plan is good and acceptable. I will adhere to it on Poornima days starting from Oct. 16th.

Oct 16th also happens to be a Sunday. Does it mean we should do our regular

prayers and also this Gayatri chanting and Loka Samastha Bhavanthu chanting on

that day?

and I observe from the almanac that 17th is actually Purnima when there is a

Lunal eclipse too. Please confirm.

We will chant Gayatri mantra on Oct 17th- 6.00 AM (morning)

 

Now on Poornima we will chant only Gayatri mantra 108 times followed by Loka

Samastha -28times and then Shanti prayer 3 times.

 

Okay -

 

There will be no more changes please dont get confused with regular prayers with

Thurs and Sundays(that will remain same).
