Guest guest
Sairam to the noble hearted members of this HOLY group, The atmosphere in Parthi is fully charged with veda chantings,Its really cheerful over here…..Devotees from all walks of life, wearing big smiles, with colourful dresses are assembled here. All the students on dasara festival vacation, from nook and corner of the country, have landed in parthi, like the migratory birds which travel thousands of miles for a special feeling. Unlike other students, Swamy’s students are busy in Grama Seva(village service). They are really blessed to bring happiness among the poor, hungry villagers. The van with the goodies came to my village on Wednesday(oct5th). There were announcements of their arrival the day before. The whole village was eagerly waiting for the messengers of our beloved Lord. The village was beautifully decorated with flowers and rangolis at the main entrance of my village.. It looked as if the arrangements were made for Swamy’s arrival to the village.. As promised the wagon of goodies came around 9am. None of the villagers had prepared food that day. The students did NAGARA SANKIRTAN joined by few of my villagers. The students went to each and every house, asked how many people were there, and gave that many Rice Packets(tamarind rice, locally called as PULIHORA), and equal number of Laddus(the round candy, which is found in one of the hands of Ganesha). Each family got one Cotton Dhoti and a beautiful saree. While giving the above things, the students said, AMMA SWAMY MEE KOSAM PRASADAM PAMPINCHARU(Mother!Swamy has send you this prasad through us)… These words touched every body’s hearts. Where is Swamy and Where are we? He is so much concerned about us. These were the thoughts in each and every villager’s mind. As we all know, Indian women are very fond of sarees, and the condition of this poor people is a different story. Infact, few of them get only one saree in a year, and that’s given by Swamy Himself, through His messengers. The houses were beautifully decorated. Every body preferred to play Bhajans and Veda cassettes in their respective homes, just to make the atmosphere more SWAMIFUL.. Many were running door to door, to borrow Swamy’s cassettes. As each house gets one saree and dhothi, irrespective of the members in the family….. the ABANDONED houses were also shown as real houses.Few people went one step ahead and thoroughly cleaned the cow sheds, and managed to arrange few utensils and stoves to make it look like a kitchen cum drawing room. Unlike our always (hyper)active sevadal brothers, students even though they knew, the FACT, relaxed the rules, just to make the poor villagers happy, as they are the REAL TARGET customers, Swamy is focused on...Infact this stupendous task is taken up by Swamy to bring happiness among the people below or on the Poverty line… And may be the students are pretty sure, that the sarees for sure will not be sold,or used for any other purposes. In some cases, there are atleast 3 ladies in a house, (mother in law, mother and some times daughter), so such type of ADJUSTMENTS are made to get equal share, which is not a bad idea at all, considering their financial status. Some villagers who didn’t have such a CHANCE, came to me, and asked me to speak in English to the students, and get a saree for them. Many of them were old women(mother-in-laws), and the incharge professor and the students, didn’t hesitate to give away, just to see the beautiful smiles, on their faces. (any Swamy’s students reading this email, pls don’t think other wise, WE all are very happy for your kindness and generosity… Keep up the great work, relax the rules sometimes, if it makes people happy, and ultimately Swamy happy) Words cannot be found, to express how lucky we villagers’ are to be born so close to this holy land, and receive such gifts DIVINE from the Avatar Himself…….just before DASARA Sata Koti Pranams at The Lotus feet of our belove Lord….. Swamy Keep Loving Us, the same way as you have been from the time unknown… Satish Naik Brahmana Palli Village Near Puttaparthi Anantapur District Andhra Pradesh 515134 India Mob:9440857872
