Guest guest
If some articles have to be always remain in good condition, they must be kept in a proper environment. If the environment changes, those articles will be of no use to us.For example,a thing which has to be cool, must be stored in a refrigerator, for the refrigerator is made for that purpose. If that thing is kept outside,it will not retain chillness. Similarly, people respect sages for their good qualities. That will last only as long as they do not expect from others. If on the other hand, they take respect for granted, and seek obligations, they will lose peoples' regard.Hence it follows that if the sages have to maintain their dignity, they must not ask anything from any body. If we behave wrongly toward great souls, they will get angry with us.But that anger will be there only till we bow down to them and seek their pardon. When we do so,their anger will vanish immediately. Therefore,if we commit mistake,we must realise it and apologise for it.And again,if we have to retain our prestige,we should least expect anything from anybody. A song is song only when sung melodiously.Harsh words spoil friendship.Prostration dispels the anger of gud people.Solicitng leads to loss of self-respect .
