Step Towards Sai - Fear

Fear is a poison that should not be allowed to

circulate.Repeat the name of your presiding or

favourite deity,or chant a familiar mantra when you

feel fear taking hold of you.Joy is life's

nourishment,fear is starvation.

Fear is the opposite of beleif.fear denies faith

Fear is a feeling of the human ego.It is not an

emotion the soul is familar with.

Fear predicts an inability to let go,a restraint

and inactive pause in which precious moments of growth

are arrested.TO GET RID OF FEAR Feel the presence of

GOD:GOD is all pervading.HE is always with you,in you,

around you,above you.HE is not far to seek.HE has to

be realised through the inner eye of wisdom.

Devotion to GOD eradicates all fears.GOD bestows

perfect security on HIS devotees and removes all sorts

of fears.HE transforms the sense of insecurity and

fear into one of the confidence and faith.Meditation

on fearless soul removes all fears in totality.Thus

spake the LORD

"WHY FEAR WHEN I AM HERE"

Sai Ram and thanks, Jeeva. This is one of the things I always pray to Swami to

remove from me during Arati. A wise and wonderful Sai devotee told me once that

the opposite of love is fear. Its paralyzing effect is dreadful.

 

One of Swami's 108 Names is "Abhaya Pradaya", the One who is totally devoid of fear.

 

Abhaya, total absence of fear, is a divine attribute, a state of the

consciousness we are all trying to reach and I pray to our Swami to grant it to

all of us, so that we may do His Work on this earth with the love and

compassion, dedication and determination it deserves.
