Guest guest
Dear Friends: I am most curious to know if anyone feels that Baba withdraws his personal attention/communication from us at times. There was a time in my life when I felt personal interaction from Baba to be so accessible and easy. Now, it seems He is farther away and answers to my queries do not come so readily or perhaps at all even. Maybe it is an indication that we are to internalize what He has shown us and live our lives based on his teachings rather than relying on direct communication. Nevertheless I do feel sad to say that communication with/answers from our dear Swami has seemed to vanish. Just wondering if anyone has had a similar experience...? Regardless of my feelings, I have continued to do my daily prayers and sadhana and remain steadfast in my devotion to our dear Baba and to his love. I am grateful for His blessing my life. With light, Alexandra

Sai Ram Alexandra, I have come across similar situations in my life when I felt that Bhagawan Baba had let go of my hand and that He had abandoned me.I could not reach Him anymore; like you I asked : " Father, where are you? Why have you abandoned me?" Later, as I gained Divine Conciousness ,I realised that I was mistaken; Baba had never abandoned me. During those tough times when I could not walk anymore, He was carrying me in His arms. Have Faith, Alexandra and do not look for 'Pratyaksha Pramaana' (direct proof of perception). Especially with my wife having Ovarian Cancer. I went through many emotions includng anger but my faith always brought me back to Baba. I don't feel or hear him as much, but I know he is there, and I know he is sending us to the right people and helping us make the right decisions. Perhaps his apparent absence to me is his desire for me to understand my faith and the strength so I can deal with issues in the physical. I alway think of his saying, innerview not interview and why fear when I am here. I don't always understand the events and why they must happen, but I know that he/she loves me completely and is always there. I never feel alone anymore, that is the greatest blessing from Baba, I know he is there always, whether I feel him or not. I believe that love is the power of the universe, and when we can draw on that regardless of the most intense pain, then we understand the depth of Baba. I hope this helps. When we are new to Baba's message and teaching He holds our hands and guides us. When we have walked under His guidance for some years - He lets go the hand to see if we will treead the path shown by Him. But, trust Him He is just there where He was when He held your hand and walked you on the path. Looking back - in 1985 when I was on the Divine Task to paint the Prasanthi Mandir - we had our share of popularity. I was daily with friends from Canada and after evening Darshan we would go out for Ginger tea. Now this was that time when I had the Divine Privelege to talk to Baba everyday and get his Pad Namaskars virtually every day. So Anirudh from Winnipeg in Canada would ask me every day - Why does Swami not look at me: My answer to him - Swami is always looking after you, but with His physical Two Eyes - He has tens of thousands wanting Him to look at them - so He fleets His glance towards all and its not His fault Anirudh if you are not in that glance. There was a sort of ego in this talk. And three years down Swami made me go thru that cold period - He just would not look at me - or rather I was never able to be under His fleeting Glance, but, my trust was stronger - He was always looking after me. Before I have dreamed Baba so often, but now He does not come any more. When I returned form Parthi for the second time, He even went completly out from my life and leaves me only Jesus to pray. In the meantime, I realize that my prayers and sadhanas become more harder and following of Baba's teaching more intensively. Then I become aware that Baba is always, no WITH, but WITHIN me. I don't feel Him with my senses but with my heart. Truly, I think that Baba is preparing us to time when He will leave His sweet body, so we will always remember His teaching and live by it, so He always will be alive in out hearts. Doesn't you think so?
