Example will be a coughing elderly, who might have TB and needs to be told how

to take care ofthe spit. Get them to go to a Government Hospital for help. 4.

Pregnangt ladies should be educated in not drinking alcohol and smoking. Teach

them about Healthy vegeterian foods and hot meals. Good hand washing. Proper

disposal of the waste products. Hygiene of the surroundings. How to prevent

spread of diarrhoea. Things like that. 5. Also make certain the children are

going to the Government schools and on the weekends teach them moral stories

and make them believe in themselves as the Highest instruments of GOd. Teach

them maths and English and subjects through which also you can teach them

values. Totor them. 6. Get some old computers and teach them computer skills.

7. Make

certain that all children ahd their Primary vaccinations against illnesses, as

per the W.H.O. standards. Take them to the facility where the immunizations are

given and keep a record of them. Make certain the families maintain a record.

8. Make certain that all pregnant women get their monthly care. Make them

listen to Bhajans or soothing classical music. 9.Teach parents not to hit

children or yell at them. As that will lead to fear and failure to develop good

cognitive associations . This in turn will lead to more dullness of the

intelligence as they arrest in fear complex. There are different ways of

dealing discipline with love. This type of genuine service will reach the

Lord's heart than trying to look for funding or other resources . Swami's

latest message on the 19th of Novemeber this year is not to depend on the third

party to do your work. But do it yourself. If you

reach out to 20 families, all the 10 of you would reach out to help 200

families. Love felt by the 200 families will inturn through Expansion love will

transform 1000 families. Swami said that if 1 person transforms wiht your love,

that person will try to reach out to 5 other persons ( New Delhi Speech, 1999
