A very dear friend of mine, her name is Ileana, is seriously ill. She has got cancer and now doctors have told her husband that there is only little time left. The cancer started in the liver but is now going round in her body to other organs. I have prayed Swami many times, I know that HIS love is always with her, but I wanted put this prayer request to our special prayer group. Ileana knows well how things are and she is so brave and calm, she only wants that the remaining time should not be painful. In October she will become grandma for the second time, her fear is not to life enough to see the baby. Please let us do all that we can. Thank you to all of you, to this beautiful and loving Sai Family. I always remember the bhajan of Narsi Mehta, Vaishnava Janato tena kahiyere... where a brief description of a devotee is described...which i never fulfil. I am simply a follower of Swami who loves Swami in his physical form. I dont want to see Swami in his present day physical form as I cant control my tears when I see Swami limping and collecting bunch of our problems through our letter. Swami may be God. But cant we follow Swami's teachings ? Instead of anything thinking as problem in our lives and praying to Swami for that, Cant we think any so called problem as a challange and try to come over it instead praying/writing in our letters to Swami and giving burdens to him. Swami has done a lot for each one of us. But our expectations are not limited. Please please let us give some rest to Swami's physical body... I am sorry for being emotional. But i cant control myself.. Excuse me if i have hurt anybody with my message. All his actions, sufferings to his body are part of His avatar, part of his master plan. It won't effect devotees requisitions and desires , ofcourse he will consider devotees Prayers, opinions and desires, but final decision is of swami's only. The Lord comes down in human form and undergoes the punishments for our sake and saves us. At the same time He will protect the prestige of God of Justice and the theory of Karma. This is the main reason for His human incarnation. Not only walking if he wants to run, he can run like a child. But there is much meaning in all Swami's words, actions, we can't understand them instantly after some years it reveals the truth. Infact Swami has no sufferings and he does't feel any pains, he does't have body_conceousness. Have you observed any time the feeling of suffering, feeling of Pain in Swami's face when he walking or when standing or when he sitting. Swami has only one feeling Which is "LOVE". As another Brother told that all these for Filtering of Devotees.Yes its 100% correct. Last few days back when i have visited Parthi One of the seva dal person, who's duty is at Swami's residence gate, he was telling like this, On Last Gurupoornima day, night around 11 or 11.30 Swami came outside by Normal walk, approached them and blessed with some prasadam. We were in Bangalore and all of my friends were in a line facing me with Baba being the closest. It was Darshan and I said to myself I will not react if Baba looks at me, well he did, and I cried so hard and loud and long; Afterwards a man came and asked me why I had cried, I could give no logical answer except I had just seen God. Another man brought his son and said I reminded him of his father who had passed away. I believe that we get the message and lesson we need from Swami. Also on that visit I was told not to talk, because it took away the energy of what Swami was giving during Darshan. Wherever I went the person who was with me talked and talked. If they hadn't I would never have gotten to know such wonderful people or heard the stories I did. Again, perhaps these were my lessons, but I received very different things then I expected. And I would add one more thing, crying from strength or devotion or great love can never be bad in my eyes. I have been a follower too for a very long time. I refused to call myself a 'devotee' because there was that little something missing , that little something which makes one say 'I am a devotee!' I felt that I was not giving enough of myself or I had much more to give before I reach the stage where I can pronounce myself a 'devotee'. Anyway, by whatever name you call yourself 'follower' or 'Gopi' or 'admirer', rest assured that Baba loves you for what you are. This is the only thing that matters.
