Jai Sai Ram

On 28th August 2005, it was JANMASTHAMI and Udi

started coming and falling from Baba’s Photo and

Statue in our small mandir and the big photo of Baba

on the wall in our house. Baba has once said that He

is Krishna and named the masjid in which He used to

live as Dwarkamai. The figures/words formed on the

photos were ‘OM’ , ‘Shyam’ and ‘Ram’. Usually on every

Thursdays the order of these words are Om, Ram and

Shyam. But on JANMASTHAMI the order was Om, Shyam and

Ram. We did all the normal pooja. In our colony there

is a temple and they arranged for a cultural program

on this day. It was on quite a large scale. 60 small

kids took part in various items of dance and dramas

which was followed by bhajjans by ladies. At 12 in the

night Krishan ji took the birth and ‘Bhadias’

(Congratulations) were given. We attended the function

and Mrs Gupta meditated there only for some time while

sitting on the chair. At 12, when ladies were singing

‘Bhadias’ Mrs Gupta’s lap was filled with Udi. Udi was

not distributed there as it would disturb the function

and people were advised to come and attend the Sri Sai

Amrit Vani on Thursday. Even after the announcement

many people took the Udi from there. The function

ended with the Aartee. Later on Mrs Gupta told that

she felt that as if she is in Shirdi and Baba walked

from Dwarkamai and sat on the plateform of Samadhi

Mandir prepared by Shri Booty, as described in Sai

Satcharitra, but Baba was just looking like Krishna.

May Baba bless us all. Jai Sai Ram.
