A new spiritual center

Sai Ram Sai Family,

 

I am so excited about a huge blessing Baba has given me recently. I have been

given the opportunity to help launch a spiritual program for families here in

the San Francisco area (California)! Baba had told me in a dream that I would

be serving children in the second half of my life, after recovery from my

illness. And now it is all happening. Baba always makes our dreams come true

if they come from a pure place -- but sometimes we have to wait awhile!

 

It is going to be a Sunday gathering called Bridges, led by an amazing Pastor

who founded the Center for Conscious Living in Florida. I will be a volunteer

teacher. We are going to teach universal spiritual principles to the children

in a fun way, and conscious parenting and practical spirituality to the adults.

We are also going to have spiritual groups for teens. We have so many plans

for expanding into all kinds of programs! I am going to weave in Baba's human

values program into the curriculum. It is not going to be a Baba center

because we want it to be more general to attract as many spiritually hungry

souls as possible. But of course Baba will be driving the whole thing behind

the scenes! We are renting out a local community center for now until Swami

sends us someone who can help us obtain a property and permanent location.

 

I wanted to connect with others out there who have been working with children.

Does anyone have any great book suggestions with activity ideas? This could be

Educare/EHV books, or general spirituality programs. I have ordered a lot of

books already from amazon.com. Thank you in advance for any suggestions you

might have.

Sai Ram to you Laura and a happy Jhanmashtami

 

I am a value educator and have benefitted largely from Krishnamurthi

foundation and Auroville in Pondicherry. Both these organizations

are on the web and can give you priceless information and stories

maybe even for downloading. Divine Life Society Shivananda's Ashram

too can be accessed. More than all these it will be the local people

their work and the great ones amongst them whose works or life

stories you could weave into the curriculum. good luck to you my

dearest one..you are indeed the chosen one and may sai be with you

and guide you in your work. In Moscow i am trying to motivate the

people but the language is a big constraint...english has been the

language i have been with since childhood and taking on a slavic

cyrillic language seems quite uphill...

 

thanks for sharing your experience and be in touch i will give you

little somethings which mught just spur you on..since in india i

have dealt with an admix which is so unipolar and at once multipolar

too..handling such a bunch sure makes for a lot of dexterity and

gives you a lot of courage

Congratulations. Just like for you, SWami personally told me to

start The SAI Institute Of Educa re an dthe work is going on. Fo rme

he told me that I am his institute an dwhere ever I go and talk, it

is he who is talking and not me. So I have my LCD Projector and my

LAp Top with all PP presentations. These became a book, " Brain,

Mind, SAI Educare", personally blessed by Bhagawan on th e23rd,

November, 2004. It is a description that gives scientific backing

for Bhagawan's Program, Parenting that is effective and value based

and parenting tips to nurture the senses.

All are in ONE and the Programs are offered through the Texas Early

Care and Educational Developmental systems. Book is available on

Amazon.com
