I read a email from one of the Sai Brothers in this group, who had written a

email saying that he is in this Corporate world, and having to go through the

responsibilities and duties of this "world". As I am also in it, but in a much

lower position, I wanted to make a comment which reflects this type of life.

It is a very busy life, having to spend your entire time in office, thinking of

office responsibilites, etc. I would like any Sai brother or sister to give me

advice as to how to do namasmarana when we are so busy in office. How is it

possible to think of God when we are stuck in such a 'miserable' position.

Advice needed.

Dear Avdhar,

Sai Ram.

As busy as it may ever get - namasmaran must go on.

This is what I do:

I have a namsmaran book - in which you write the nama you want to

chant. Writing gets you to concentrate your eyes and hands on the

subject - even mind should be with the hands and eyes - but with

monkey tendencies it will flit up and down aimlessly and with

passion also.

I write a page in the morning before the office work commences and

one in the evening before we shut shop. This is the concrete form of

namasmaran - between the pages of likhit japa - you should rotate

the selected name continously on your tongue. You are worried it

will distract you from the work at hand. Don't worry - once you are

able to do namsmaran in the back ground of the mind - you will do

more work then ever before.

There are times when you will have to no work pending - do

namasamaran and talk to Baba. In fact, I forgot to tell you - once

you finish the page in the morning - dedicate your work, that you

are going to do, to Baba and when you do the page in the evening

thank Baba for His help in the work.

And please do not be shy when you start the likhit japa - many in

office will tease you and chide you, tell all you write the two

pages for a Happy Future.

Sairam Brother,

Please keep thinking about Swami as frequently as possible and chant

his name. By practice, the gap between the remembrance will come

down. Eventualy the roopa smarana and naama smarana will become as

easy as breathing, going on parallel to other physical, mental &

intelletual fucntions.

All we have to do id to take the first step with a devoted mind.

Rest will be done by Him.

Jaisairam.

Sai ram

There is a really easy way to do this and it takes no additional

time from your duties.

I think that in every thing that we do we must write something or

use our p.cs to keep record to thing that we do or need to do. So

what I do since I have to keep record of all the clients that I

called and also to what the said I always write sai ram before the

massage and sai ram after the message. It a easy way to remember the

Lord for me.

Hope that I could help you.

sairam to all and happy Independence day.

Namasamrana is nothing but thinking of our beloved god always. So

for this there is no time in particular. All of us are busy with our

office work. You travel from home to office you can do Namasmaran

that is while travelling, while taking bath, while getting ready to

work during lunch break, while returning home in the evening ,

before going to bed, morning as soon as you get up.

That's what myself and our group in mumbai we do. try that it is

very easy.

try it and it will become a habbit.
