Guest guest
Sai Ram Vishal , Bal vikas is not only oriented with Baba's teachings but with other religion teacher's and saints too. It deals with development of the children on moral and human values, so this Sathya Sai Bal vikas is not narrow but very expansive, vast ever growing. It embraces all religions, all saints without any distinctions - caste colour or creed. I will tell you one incident which was narrated by ex Sathya Sai Samithi president(India) He was with Swami one day with some educationist and they were dicussings about some past saints which should be included in Bal Vikas syllabus. Now when they were discussing about the saints(non living) all of a sudden Swami informed them to include Maa Anadamoyee maa (Saint ffromBenaras ) and then He walked off- now the teachers and the president were perplexed as Anadamoyee is still living how can they include her name with non living saints. Now ex president didn't ask Swami but confrmed he will go ahead what Swami suggested but prior to that he did some investigation - what he found out- lo and behold- exactly when Swami confirmed the name of Anandamoyee to be included in the syllabus that exact time Maa Anandamoyee ma past away at Benaras- educationist and teacher's were baffled- Thought of sharing this incident to you. Guest guest
Yes. As our Bro Soumendraji correctly said Balvikas classes are not just text book bound, rather it is the EDUCARE way ,propounded by our Beloved Bhagawan where knowledge is imparted from 'heart to heart'. Most countries do have their own set syllabus for Balvikas classes. Here in Malaysia Balvikas children are categorized into a. pre schoolers b. Group 1 [ usually Lower primary ] c. Group 2 [ usually Upper primary] d. Group 3 [ Lower secondary.....up to age 15 ] Once they are in Upper secondary they fall under Teen Youth category till 19 yrs of age. All seasonal festivals of all major religions are celebrated and learnt by Balvikas children during those respective times of the year, just as they learn the life stories of well known sages and saints ,past and present, from all over the world. Little excerpts from these life stories are also acted out by the children during festival times. It is a wonderful wonderful experience to be part of Swami's 'growing world'. Last year, for the first time,we held Sathya Sai Balvikas Convocation, honouring those students who have gone through the stipulated number of years with Balvikas. It was a grand function on a State Level [with ministers, gown and sash and all..] Such a proud occasion for all....as these students profiles were passed over to the Teen Youth fold. They did feel like being Parthi Students......Swami's dearest children. Just felt like writing all this, brother, when you mentioned Balvikas..... JAI SAI RAM Girija.
