But, at the same time, human effort is also necessary, for, without it, man cannot enjoy the benefits of God's Grace. It is only when you have Divine Grace and human endeavor that you can experience bliss. Guest guest
Sairam Brother, Thank you so much for sharing your inner thoughts & feelings regarding the lack of 'spiritual based' Leadership in the real world. I too was in the Corporate world for many years and so am able to understand the 'struggle' you are facing at present. The message that indicated that Prashanti is our actual home..... in my humble opinion ... means is that we INSTALL Prashanti in our hearts wherever we may physically be......not actually move to Prashanti Nilayam. You are doing extremely well in your world but desperately pine for Swami.....well that is perfectly okay isn't it? You may at times want to run away to Prashanti and even join His colleges...however......is this a yearning of the heart or the mind ? By running away...are we truly able to overcome any issues /problems ?? In fact we find that until we deal with these issues from within.....they will follow us wherever we go! You also say that 'Nothing changes when you change jobs'. But then the first rule on the spiritual path is not to have any expectations from our actions. The ONLY person we have control over is our own selves...no one else. Once we ourselves begin to practice & integrate the principles of 'spiritual based leadership' and when others around us see the actual results they too WILL want to try our ways......and then the changeg will happen slowly but surely. If you see for yourself a role in converting the current materialistically inclined Corporate leadership towards a spiritual path.....then surely Swami has already shown you your direction already? Please do not feel so despondent dear brother. Have total faith in Swami & please continually ask Him for guidance at every step of the way. (I presume you have already read all the books on Spiritual Leadership by Lt. Gen Chibber and Jack Hawley who are also ardent devotees of our Baba). Remain Blessed! I guess this is a situation in the world which I need to face as millions of others do, maybe without a complaint. The Corporate world encourages aggression and which in turn leads to violence. Corporate violence is extremely subtle so the beneficiaries can easily justify this stating economic benefits. When we downsize and get rid of people we justify it by talking about the business benefits of this. In the current scenario, the most noble businessman also is completely focused on his/her business gain only. We read about the situation in various African countries but these become stories to sympathize with and nothing more. Sai devotees go a step further and pray for world peace and for humanity at large. I try not to feel despondent but the pain at times becomes unbearable and it pours out. 10.0pt;font-family:Arial;color:navy">Thanks Madhvi for paying attention to my prattle. 10.0pt;font-family:Arial;color:navy"> Warm Regards Radhakrishnan
Guest guest
Bless you dear Brother for your sweet email. Please feel free to open your heart anytime...that is what we are all here for....to share our views, thoughts & to help & support each other wherever we can. Because I have experienced this first hand myself.....I really do understand your feelings at this time. I used to work for the biggest Telecommunications Company in the UK.... (over 100.000 employees) for 18 years...& I too in my role as 'manager' / 'team leader' had to experience office politics, 'violence' as you put it.....as well as implement many manpower downsizing processes, etc. et.c. etc. And at times I too used to feel really 'on my own' and 'out of synch' with the others, because a lot of these things that I had to 'do' in my job were completely against my inner nature. But truly....with complete faith & trust and Swami in your heart.......you WILL be able to deal with this step by step. The key is not to lose hope...and continue to pray to and ask Swami for guidance every moment. Trust me dear brother, He will show you how to lead and manage your work spiritually! Guest guest
I too agree with Madhavi's words fully. In fact it reminds me of something I have on my desk which I use as an 'affirmation/reminder' called 'P.U.S.H (Pray until something happens) - I think it was sent by her some time ago to the group. Brother please do not despair. Have faith in our Bhagawan He will guide you perfectly - just pray. Also as another brother said, we are exactly where we are meant to be - so do not fight it. I pray that Swami gives you the strength and shows you the way but meanwhile please remember P.U.S.H ! In Sai Service, Suresh
