Guest guest
Sairam, Two of my friends(American Christian marrying an Indian Hindu) are planning to have a court marriage next week for reasons i do not know. They want to have a vedic wedding end of this year in India. They do not know about Swami and are not religious. I'm just curious. I remember reading somewhere that Swami once said register/court marriages are 'paper' marriages and that marriages must be performed in a spiritual fervor and ought to invoke the Gods, have spiritual fire, right muhurtam and elders blessings. But i've grown up seeing a lot of my cousins get married in the communist party style (cos they were actively into the party ideals and also to save a bunch of money) in the presence of a judge, a couple of senior leaders, family and friends. What does Swami think about this? Love, Sandhya
