AUM SAI RAM!

 

After I had undergone successful surgery to remove a cancerous tumour in my

left breast at the North Middlesex University Hospital,under the NHS,I

relaxed completely,thanking Bhagawan Baba for the miracle -the cancer was

diagnosed early and I had conserved my breast.I was prescribed Tamoxifen

tabs,which I have to take for five years uninterrupted,but I declined

radiotherapy treatment.My treating doctor said:

" I decide!" and I was then ushered out to meet Dr.Neeves,the Oncologist.

"Hello,young lady!" , he greeted me.

"Hello!" I returned the greeting;then added "I am not young!"

"Yes, you are young.I have your date of birth in front of me.

For the next forty five minutes,Dr.Neeves talked to me to convince me to

follow my treatment with radiotherapy.

"Now, when should we start?" he asked.

"Well... I thought once the tumour is removed ,I am clear!"

Then I broke into tears.

"What did I say to make you cry?" Dr. Neeves asked me tenderly.

"I've told everybody that I don't have cancer anymore!"

"You are right.You don't have cancer.The radiotherapy will prevent the

cancer from recurring" he said,handing one tissue paper over to me, followed

by the whole box of tissues.

"You will do your radiotherapy, Anita !You will add many ,more beautiful

years to your life!"

So much LOVE! My life means much more to Dr.Neeves than it does to me!

I was tempted to ask Dr.Neeves:

"Do you pray?"

Then I changed my mind.

In my heart,I said:

"Dr. Neeves,you are God!You are Premaswarupa!"

Doctors Can Heal by Suggestion

Doctors should have a thorough knowledge of the science of suggestion. Sincere,

sympathetic doctors are very rare. Doctors who have no knowledge of suggestion do more harm

than good. They kill patients sometimes by unnecessarily frightening them.

If there is a little cough of an ordinary nature, the doctor says: “Now, my friend, you have

got T.B. You must go to Bhowali or Switzerland or Vienna. You must go in for a course of

tuberculin injection.” Poor patient is frightened. There is not at all any sign of consumption. The

case is an ordinary one. It is simple catarrh of the chest from exposure to chills. The patient

actually develops phthisis by fright and worry owing to the wrong destructive suggestion of the

doctor.

The doctor ought to have told him: “Oh, it is nothing. It is simple cold. You will be all

right by tomorrow. Take a purgative and inhale a little oil of eucalyptus. Adjust your diet. It is

better you fast today.” Such doctor is God Himself. He must be adored.

A doctor may say now: “Well, sir, if I say so, I will lose my practice. I cannot pull on in

this world.” This is a mistake. Truth always gains victory. People will run to you as you are

sympathetic and kind. You will have a roaring practice.

There is healing by suggestion. This is a drugless treatment. This is suggestive

therapeutics. By good and powerful suggestion, you can cure any disease. You will have to learn

this science and practice it. All doctors of Homeopathic, Allopathic, Ayurvedic and Unani

systems should know this science. They can combine this system along with their own systems.

Thanks for responding. Sivananda is absolutely right about doctors.I have

the good fortune to follow medical treatment in London, under the National

Health Service,where everything is free except that I pay a nominal fee for

prescribed medicines. The attitude of my Oncologist strike me as being Godly

because he made a difference; he is not a private doctor; he is not charging

a fee,yet he is offering me the bestest treatment' to add',in his

words,'many, more beautiful years to my life'.

 

I know the difference coz people have not been very nice to me; in

Mauritius, for instance,it is generally beleived that 'cancer' is a

'curse';it follows that when one has the disease, one hides it from family

and friends.One feels rejected and humiliated.

I am marvelled at the Healthcare system in UK and the people who make it

function (without going into politics!); the support that cancer patients

get from one and all ; the love, the understanding, the kindness of all-

what a wonderful world!!

Live! is the suggestion- the world is a beautiful place! life is beautiful!
