font-weight:bold">“Vishvamitra” is known as “Rajarishi”

- King among sages. But “Vasista” was known as a “Brahamarishi”

– Sage established in Brahmam (Highest class of sages). This was the sole

reason for Vishvamitra to fight against the great sage Vashista. Vishvamitra

was originally a King named as Kaushika. Later he undertook penance and became

a sage, but even after becoming a sage his angerness always worked against him.

He has lost his merits gained by the deep penance many times simply due to his uncontrollable

angerness.
