Guest guest
Sai Ram to all, I am also completely ignorant of the Sanskrit Language. But analysing the meaning of the Sloka, it strikes like this for me:: Here in this Sloka, to my limited knowledge and understanding VISHNU means All Pervasive or Omni Present that means the God present every where. So i presume this word is used here in the sense "Lord Ganesha wearing white garments, who is the Omni Present, All Pervasive, of the bright white colour of the Moon, who is having four Arms and so on..." and also analying how the word is used, it is not referred to Lord Vishnu in this particular Sloka And , also considering the God is only one and all the names belongs to HIM and HE respondas to any Name He is called for, there is no wrong by using this word Vishnum in the sloka for Ganesha. If i am wrong, any one please donot hesitate to correct. Hai Sai Ram Maheswari Madhu wrote: > Sairam to all. As per Hindu traditions, we pray first to Ganesha, > who removes all obstacles. .....
