Sister Melody has been having some problems e-mailing this list, so I am

forwarding it on her behalf.

PRAYER LIST FOR SUNDAY AUGUST 7 2005

Sai Ram to everyone ...

As usual I apologize in advance if I make any errors or mistakes or mispellings

of names or requests.

Especially as I catch up if there are any duplicate name requests.

Please if I have somehow missed anyones request .. please write me at

blngs2sai (AT) tds (DOT) net and I will

attend to it immediately.

I have kept all previous requests from the last two weeks in the list and I will make the list go

from the 1st of the month to the 1st of the month. If after the first of the

month you still feel that

you need prayers .. please resubmit your prayer requests at that time.

Urgent pleas will be looked over daily by me and sent

out immediately to various holy shrines for assistance and

immediate prayer help.

May this seva bring us altogeather in Unity and foster the gift of Unity to one and all.

May Swami bless all those whom we pray for.

May all the beings in all the worlds be happy and have peace.

Sai Prayer Goup - Prayer List for Sunday August 7, 2005

Let us pray for universal love, happiness and welfare of humanity.

"Pray for the welfare of all. The power of prayer is incalculable. Every one

should pray every day for the welfare and happiness of all people everywhere.

This is true spirituality. To render service to others to the limit of your

capacity is real spirituality. The body has been given to man for serving

others." (Sri Sathya Sai Baba, SS April 1996 p. 89)

"Faith so stable as this is fast becoming a rarity! Only those who can pour out

compassion to fellowmen can claim a place in the Grace of God; this is the

highest spiritual discipline ; it impresses on you the unity of the human

community and the glory of God's immanence. May the world have peace and

happiness,and loving trust. This is My Blessing. I want you to pray for the

welfare and prosperity of all mankind." (Sri Sathya Sai Baba, Dharmakshethra,

25 Dec 1970).

Let us pray for the Self.

"Self is everything. It is Aham Brahmaasmi, Tatwam Asi, Ayam Atman Brahman,

Prajnaanam Brahman. Therefore when you pray for the self, it is all inclusive,

as the self is Atman. God is in you. Pray for the Self." (Baba, Overseas

Medical Camp Group, November 2002).

Let us say a special prayer, together with our deepest gratitude and love, for

the good health of our beloved Swami.

Baba assures us that our prayers reach Him and are pleasant to Him. "The loving

prayers of devotees would cure Me in no time", I assured them. I told the

doctors that I did not need any medicine or further treatment. The prayer of

the devotees is the panacea for this body. Their prayers have given Me immense

bliss." (Baba, Divine Discourse on 19th August 2003).

Let us pray for our brothers and sisters who, in suffering, have requested

prayers to the Sai Family. May God show His mercy to all His suffering

children.
