The Sri Sathya Sai Service Organisation organised a free Medical Camp at the

premises of the Sikh Temple Clinic and Dispensary on Sunday, July 24.

More than 40 patients were seen by the two doctors, Dr.B.V. Nayak and Dr. Hallo,

who offered their services free for this exercise. The doctors were assisted by

other health workers of the Clinic. The patients were also given free drugs.

Those who had eye problems like cataracts were referred to the Lions Club Eye

Clinic.

Members of the Organisation worked tirelessly assisting the patients with the filling in of forms,

getting medicines, assisting the doctors and listening to the problems of the patients.

The Organisation's officials expressed their thanks to the Sikh Temple Clinic

and the medical staff for their generous assistance. It hopes to hold more

medical camps in the near future.

Members of the Sathya Sai Centre regularly visit schools and orphanages, taking

foodstuffs and essential items of clothing for the children. They gather every

Saturday evening for Study Circle and bhajans (singing of religious songs) from

4.00 pm to 6.00 pm.
