Light and Love

Happy Guru Poornima - time, dedicated to the contemplation with the Self and

eternal Atma within. Let Swami's Omnipresent Divine Power suspends in the

darkest corners of mind and will bring enlightenment to all who have faith in

Him.

Tonight the full Moon is closest to the Earth. The full moon is so bright

that it produces many sun-like phenomena in the sky and as fills the human mind

with celestial unexplained powers, potencies. As the Earth spins on its axis,

the sky seems to rotate around us. This motion, called diurnal motion, produces

the beautiful concentric trails traced by stars during time exposures. So the

life of human being seems to rotate around 'I'. However, it is a similar

illusion. Guru Poornima is a time when human beings can more properly

acknowledge the veil of Maya Reality and deepen their understanding of the

sacred and mystical forces of life. It is good to keep an hour of Divine

silence through Swami's Omnipresent Cosmic Form... This is the state when the

seer and the seen are united in one; the meditator and the meditated become

identical. Why do we want to realize Atma? We have to find an alternate

purpose unless one states that life is of no real purpose. There is no need to

seek a new purpose if one exists already. By Vedas and Swami’s Teaching we and

Atma are not separate. The modern scientist will agree that all objects are

interrelated on all macro and micro, seen and unseen levels. Vedas and

Swami teach that we should work as a service and think of our body/mind as an

instrument of the Atma, God, Almighty with the spirit of the Love. The Divine

Love is always permanent but we have not acknowledged it fully. We try to

acknowledge it through Swami's Teaching. Swami stresses to serve fellow human

beings and society more effectively and get rid of selfishness....Then is

possible to be aware of motives of the Divine Love for the world. We are

aware through Swami's Teaching of the Atman residing within everyone. Swami

stresses to put it into practice, to realize this reality at all time, having

neither desires nor ego. For human being it is difficult to be aware of the

Atmic reality because we haven't looked for it. Usually we reflect the worldly

connections imitate actions and customs of consumer -society, what is far from

spirituality and laws of Nature. Guru Poornima as bring Vedas and Swami's

Teaching closer to us, and stresses the whole Universe is timeless, and

endless, and the actions of creation and destroying is only an illusion too.

Do you hear the celestial music of the spheres? Einstein heard it. Violin was

his passion as physic. For him theses two were interconnected. Einstein's

own words form a fitting conclusion: "I am happy because I want nothing from

anyone. I do not care for money. Decorations, titles, or distinctions mean

nothing to me. I do not crave praise. The only thing that gives me pleasure,

apart from my work, my violin, and my sailboat, is the appreciation of my

fellow workers."(Cern Courier, Jan/Feb 2005, quotation from article of Brian

Foster, dedicated to the Einstein's year, 2005). Namaste - Reet
