Update - negative documentary by CBC

>From Canada we like to thank all Brothers and Sisters of saibabanews group

around the world who have sent several emails expressing concern on BBC's

negative documentary "Secret Swami" shown in Canada by Canadian Broadcasting

Corporation (CBC) on Wednesday July 13.

Hundreds of emails and comments were posted at the CBC website and now we are

making an appeal to CBC to show another documentary on Swami "His Works".

Sai Ram Brothers and Sisters,

I am sharing a letter which was written by Brother J. Jegathesan, well known to

many in the Sai community. Many of you may be familiar with the wonderful

series of books he has written entitled: "Journey To God."

Upon receiving the information regarding the negative program, my family felt

moved to write letters, of protest, to the station. Ultimately, everyone

should do as their conscience dictates.

However, Brother Jegathesan, also, shares an interesting perspective on the matter .

Greetings and LOVE!

The more you protest and write the happier they will be for more people will be

viewing. The more controversy...LOVELY...For Them!

Now even those who did not know of the programe will be tuning in.

The only way we can protect ...NAY>>>EXALT Swami's name is by the good work that

devotees must do...not by protesting and whinning when someone throws mud.

If we just sit and claim HE is Avathar and do not exalt HIM and fulfill His

Divine Mission of Helping the Revival of Human Values on a pervasive scale and

promoting Unity of Faiths ( these two aspects of SAIs Mission stare at us and

speaks to us from the 2 world Symbols of the World SAI Organisation), than why

should the world care to exalt HIM.

In some nations the anti Sai snake does not dare rear its head, for so much good

work has been done, and the SAI Org. has beeen recognised as playing a role in

nation Building and has been recognised as such by Government Leaders, Religous

Leaders and Community leaders, that any negative stories about Bhagavan sounds

hollow and mean to the non SAI world.

But in any nation where the Sai Organisation has had no impact on National

Cosciousness as representing God and Godliness and Goodness, where it operates

as is preceived by many as a cult, why should anyone bother about not defiling

the name of SAI.

It is we devotees who have defiled HIS Name, by pure inertia, by our lack of

commitment to a greater ideal than clapping hands at bhajns, doing occassional

minimal seva that thousand other NGOs are doing, and all we want is for Swami

to call and speak to us at Puttaparthi.

Can you imagine how Christ was villified during His time, but His devotees by

Dedication to Love and HIS Mission exalted HIS name and pushed back the tide of

Negativity...and HE had only 11 disciples.

Our Bhgavan has Millions...and yet we have not done enough to shame those who

want to defile HIS Name.

It is not by e mails of protest that we should defend HIS name and after the few

minutes in front of the PC, we feel we have done our bit for SAI!

NO! THAT IS NOT THE WAY.

We should EXALT HIS NAME by the service we do, by the SAI Organization becoming

relevant in the countries where they exist, so that all see SAI & HIS

Organisation as a blessing to National Welfare and Nation Building.

Than the snake of anti SAI will not dare rear its ugly head.

But where this is not done, the snake will do its deadly dance and spew its poison!

Sai members should look at themselves and feel ashamed that they have allowed

SAIs name to be defiled with so much impunity!

Instead of going out to PRO -TEST, let us go and be PRO- ACTIVE in Seva, and

becoming a blessing to the people of all nations.

USA has been blessed by Bhagavan with 3 leaders in the Prashanti Council. This

is a precious gift and a precious expectation.

These leaders are great devotees of SAI and their presence can be a

blessing...but devotees cannot expect them to do all, the devotees, the memebrs

should heed the CALL OF THE AVTHAR and go forward and do.

BE! DO! SEE! TELL!

If USA leads the world will follow.

Please feel free to share these views with whoever may be intrested in the views

of one devotee ( an aspirant for devotion) from a Developing, Islamic Nation.

this program is supposed to be aired tonight! It is full of base allegations

against Swami, and everyone here is writing emails to the CBC (the biggest news

channel in Canada) to try and prevent this from airing. If you have time, maybe

you could also write an email! heyton_dyer (AT) cbc (DOT) ca - Mr. Heyton Dyer, Director

of Programming, and David Nayman, Executive Producer - david_nayman (AT) cbc (DOT) ca. If

they get a note from Malaysia, maybe they would realize what a mistake they will
