Guest guest
sairam,Iam happy to join this group and want to share my experience. Iam a Balavikas guru. One of my class student started discussion on the obstacles we face in adhering to sathya(truth). One of my students asked, "Why should I strain myself in adhering to these values? I don't know about my past birth and also the future. What god has given now I should enjoy. The environment in which I live is half truth and half untruth. How can I be truthful. And why should I waste my young age with such a battle". She also expressed that even in her family no one liked her doing so as they feel it a hindrance to progress. I understood that she wants to truly follow swami's words and as a B.V. guru I should guide her. But how I dont know? Please give me suggestions. sairam. Guest guest
Thanks for the question...It is very common to get these kind of questions..Even adults too have this question but they hesitate to ask. First of all speaking truth, following righthenousness, following dharma is not making others happy...It is for us to be happy...Eventhough the world is half truth, it also means it is half not truth. Always have postitive attitudes...When we are sick, when we take medicine, the doctor prescrible dosage..That means we have to give time to sink in. All the great people whom we are respeting, worshiping and making role models all lived in this world and they all had challenge to be in right path. Therefore we are all looking at them and making our role models. Therefore, when u want to follow truth, dont worry what other say or how the world lives, it is to our benefit and definetly the end will be "ANANDA" prakashsaradasathyasai <saradasathyasai (AT) (DOT) co.in> wrote: sairam,Iam happy to join this group and want to share my experience.Iam a Balavikas guru. ..... Guest guest
Sairam, With respect there is no evil, only mankind.Man has the abilty to be good or bad.You asked for free will and you got it.Do not blmae any other than yourself.Maya is the illusion all are bound in.Why do you not work at finding the truth beyond maya. The illusion only exists if you let it.The illusion is hundreds of years of conditioning.Make a decision and be free.Baba has given all wisdom and knowledge needed. You are not instruments in Baba's hands or any other Avatar. You are a unique human with a free will.God Baba and other Avatar's will only guide you.they will never take away your free will. Whatever you want that is good and not harm others,go for it.All thoughts must manifest this is a universal law.Be careful what you ask for. Love, light and blessings. David.OM. Guest guest
Sai Ram When TV serials are showing marriage as a ping pong - now with this guy and then with another guy and so on - it does not reflect well on the institution of marriage. When morals are dipping low - youngesters(even grown ups) feel indulgence is the order of the day. I faced a very good question at a seminar - WHEN GOD OR BABA ARE THE FINAL DOER WE ARE JUST INSTRUMENTS IN HIS HANDS AND SO - EVERYTHING THAT WE DO (GOOD OR BAD) ARE BY GOD ONLY. Yes - indeed a very tricky question. So, what about DISCRIMINATION - if all GOOD and BAD were equal - why is there discrimination given to man only. To discriminate what is Real and what is unreal (MAYA) what is Permenant and what is transitiory. Yes God is the final doer in all the SATHYA DHARMA SANTHI PREMA AND AHIMSA. In the opposites - that is untruth, adharma, ashanthi, hatred and violence - are the work of the devil - which is what MAYA cloak itself in. Lastly, when a mango tree will bear mangoes and nothing else and neem tree the bitter fruit and nothing else - our karmas will produce depending on what karmas have been done. If they (Karmas) adhere to SATHYA DHARMA SANTHI PREMA AND AHIMSA - the fruit will bear that out. Period. Guest guest
Sairam sister Sarada, I hope this helps a little. Pls try the book on Sayings of Vivekananda. It's a superb book for young people. We born as a human are given the options to adhere to the truth and falsehood of life. It is only intelligent that one adhere to righteousness in life. Falsehood of life is the result of lack of knowledge and ignorance. There's no need to strain. When situations arise in our lives, take things one at a time and we should discriminate whether are we abiding to the truth or falsehood.Do self-realisation at any particular time, in the bus,in the restroom or even at mealtime. We make decisions all the time in our lives. Even when buying clothes or going for a movie, we have to make a choice, we have to discriminate what is best. That if you can strain to think and adhere, why not truth! Nobody knows anybody's past and future. If we all do,then there's nothing to look forward in life. There's no motivation or inspiration in life. Past is past, never to be rekindled cos' there's nothing to benefit from it. Future is uncertain,it is totally dependent on ur Karma. If we know the future, we will only have a tendency to run away from it and not face it. Life becomes tasteless and monotonous, no suspense and no surprises. Yes, we should all enjoy what God has given us. But what is ENJOY??As what BABA has said, 'Enjoy as to end your joy'.Joy derived from the materiality in this world is only temporary. The permanent joy is derived by adhering to Truth,Peace,Love,Devotion and Non-violence! Such bliss is never ending or temporary. We live in this world of truth and untruth. Life itself is not real. We are all in God's play. If we welcome truth, we will be surrounded by truth. What we make ourself to be now, that we will be later. And if we are that, things around us will follow suit. If we adopt the power of discrimination at all times, whereever we are, we will never go astray. Childhood is precious, yes it is. If u think u rr wasting childhood by adhering dharma, then at which stage of ur life are u going to practise it? At adulthood, probably you'll be also saying the same thing. 'I don't want to waste my adulthood, its precious'. Then at oldage, when you're feeble and most of your strength has exhausted, are you also going to say the same thing??? Life is always a battle. Every situation is a battle in life. No one can escape battle. If you choose not to battle with situation A now, you will end up with B asap and so forth. We need the vitamin of Truth, Love, Peace, Devotion and Non-violence to gain strenghth for this battle. One has to trust in oneself to progress in life. First love yourself and the things you are blessed with. Compare your life to those who are unfortunate. You are so much better off. Then why this pain unncessarily? No one has the power to hinder another's progress. One's brain doesn't belong to another. Cultivate positivity and will-power! We are all sparks of the Divine. Thoughts of people and opinions of people are always there, around us. Why should we care abt what they say bad abt us. Care the least about what they say or their opinions. They are battling their own lives and no not how to come out of it. We are not living on their opinions and thoughts. We have our own,use it. Use it positively. Positive thoughts results to positive actions. Look up to yourself as Baba's child, you will never feel inferior. Talk to BABA, and He will talk to you thru' your conscience and actions. Practise makes perfect! Love all, serve all Anita Sakthi saradasathyasai <saradasathyasai wrote: sairam,Iam happy to join this group and want to share my experience. Iam a Balavikas guru. Guest guest
I was quite intrigued by your message. I debate two points. We are not instruments in the hands of Baba or Any Avataar. Well if we are not 'instruments' then we are the one who weilds the instruments and if this seems too far fetched - we are the ones on whom the God held instruments work. If we are not the instrument then we have to be one of the other two. I feel very happy that I AM an instrument in His hands. It give me great honour if i can be of any use to in His program. I will never permit my ego to snatch away that pleasure from my self. FREE WILL: I have had the pleasure to listen to hours of such debates - oratory at its best. Finally I take solace in Babas explanation about FREE WILL. A dog owner will take it out for a walk daily. On this walk he can use a short leash or a retractable long leash. On a short leash the dog goes whereever the master takes him - the dog just cannot get into a mess. On the long retractable leash - the dog can sniff around here and there, but as soon as the master realise it is sniffing something wrong - he presses a retract button on the leash and zoom the leash retracts - pulling the dog back to the master. Master = Baba. Dog = All of us. Some of us are on a short leash - they feel there is no free will and some of us on the retract leash - they feel they have FREE WILL. But, as soon as the button is pressed - the freedon is gone. There in one one will - SUPREME DIVINE WILL. Often devotees have complained that I am too blunt in my explanation. If I have been blunt or said something that hurt anybody - please forgive me - I mean not to hurt anyone. Look if you tell me that your foot is having a problem - i will fix that with the strongest method - lest you come with a problem in the leg and on and on. Guest guest
Sairam, I respect your debate points and wish to tell you that i am unable to debate with you. The level now reached after 57 years of intense meditation is beyond human debate. My answers just are.Beyond time and space. There is no "I" to debate with. Love and light. David.
