Guest guest
Sairam. Sai kavi, It is mentioned in upanishads about "Mano nasanam"which literally means " destruction of mind". you are right it is difficult for us but it is done by many rishis " mano layam" is in fact is disapperance or merger of mind. The path to self realization is like this, Mind merges in Buddhi (Intellect) and Intelelct merges in Atma. In another upanishad it is mentioned "Mana eva karana bandha mokshaya" means mind is the cause of binding and liberation" whcih Swamy mentioned in several of His discourses. We use Mind(Manas) like the pole walter uses his pole to cross the hurdle and leaves the pole just before he corosses the hurdle. Another example Swamy gave was, Mind is like a cloth. As you take out each theead, the cloth disaperas. The threads are our thoughts and desires. Once we elimnate them, there will be no mind, remaining. As long as we are aware theat we are not mind, the it is the beginning. If body can die, mind can also die. The only thing that remains for ever is "Atma" sairam, Rajasekhar- bahrain --- Sai Kavi <niraakaaram wrote: > Nobody can kill the mind and his thougths! you're > funny Narahyanan... .....
