A devotee tired & defeated from his life,

is praying to Baba in the following poem,

to be kind on him & carry him forward on

the road of his life :---

Mai haara thaka hua hu,

Raah sujhati na hamko.

Shirdi Sai daya karo,

Aur barhavo ab hamko.

Dekho, kahi tut na javu,

Bikhar na jaye ye moti.

Dil me kaisi halchal hai,

Mamata kyo hai roti.

Mana bhul huyi hai hamse,

Aur hua hamse apraadh.

Shirdi Baba ! bhula na dena,

Chhorh na dena mera saath.

Ham aapke anushasan,

Aur maryaada ko manenge.

Har-pal,har-chhan Sai Baba !

Geet tumhare gayenge.

Aa javo he Sai Baba !

Aur karo na ab deri.

Dekho kaisa sannata hai,

Raat barhi hai ghaneri.

Translation

========

=I am defeated & tired.The road is not being traced

(found) by me.O Shirdi Sai ! be kind and now take

me ahead.

=See,I may not be broken and these pearls may not

shatter ( means we should not be thrown away from

the garland which is so strongly tied up with thread

of Sai Love).What a disturbance is going on in the heart.Why motherly affection

is crying ?

=I do agree that I did a mistake & committed a crime.

But,O Shirdi Baba,do not forget me & leave my

company.

=I shall follow your discipline & adhere to code of

conduct.O Sai Baba ! I shall sing your songs all

the time & all the moments.

=O Sai Baba ! pl come now and do not delay any

more. See, what a loneliness is there.The night is

too very dark.
