AUM SAI RAM

In the Island of Mauritius, lived Govinda and his wife,Hemawatee.Govinda was

very possessive over the sweet and docile Hemawatee. He eyed with jealousy

her profound Love for Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba.

One day, he could not take it any more;he barged into the 'pooja

ghar'(prayer room) whilst Hemawatee was rendering a beautiful Sai bhajjan

for Bhagawan Baba-'Murali krsna,mukhunda krsna,mohan krsna,krsna!'

He lifted the statue of Shirdr Sai Baba (they did not have one of Sathya Sai

Baba),in an irresistible fit of fury and threw it out of the window;it fell

and broke it into pieces.

The heart of Hemawatee was shattered as she yelled and sobbed:

"Govinda! what have you done! Baba will never forgive us!"

However,a few days later,Hemawatee was delving into the pages of a Sai book

when she read:

"Raso Vai SAH! Only in Raso, purity of feeling that divine sweetness

dwells!Seeing purity in all actions of others is wonderful to

experience,"Baba says," but even more is KNOWING that all actions

regardlesss of their kind contain elements of purity-even actions that are

foul,bitter and full of suffering."

Hemawatee was relieved!

She understood that the action of her husband was childish....innocent and

pure.

Govinda was so full of love for her, that he could not tolerate her

demonstration of Love for another, even when that other was GOD Himself!

God is Love,Love is God! Rasa Vai Sah!
