Guest guest
I feel close enough to all here to share an emotional experince with you all. I share it so that if anyone is going through any problems, they can , with god's grace, find love and light in this..... About 5/6 years ago....it was on Diwali day...I had a call from my younger brother,Dharmesh...I thought he must have called me to wish me happy diwali, as one does on diwali day! However, he gave me the gravest news i can ever have....he told me that my mum had been for some tests as she had found a lump on her breast and this is confirmed to be breast cancer...aggressive. I was numb with shock...my mum, she has never ever uttered a bad word against anyone, why my mum? My mum came to Parti with me to baba...surely baba has blessed her.No! my mum cannot be suffering from this ..... I could not accept it.....i prayed and prayed for swami's guidance. This is the time when i learnt the meaning of the word "surrender".....until now, no matter how easy the meaning might be for some, i just did not know how one can surrender to swami..."how"...what are u supposed to say or think?! This time i just knoew....I "gave" my mum to swami...i said swami...she is my mum, makes her your special mum...swami.....mum has never hurt anyone knowingly.....she is kind and good hearted,,,,she just gives gives gives....swami, it is up to u, u do what is right but please help! My mum was very weak, she was anemic and doctors did not know how the op would be taken etc... mum came to London before the operation. Now then, i do not know how-but a name was just given to us of a sai devotee who does healing in London...mum agreed to go....he gave healing and prayed that swami will bless. The operation day arrived....it was in November, i did not even remember that the next day was swami's birthday...was just concentrating on swami's guidance and all of a sudden the worries just lifted...i knew he was in control.... U want to know what happended next?! well, on baba's birthday....next day after op....even the doctors were surprised....mum did not have to be given the strentgh if painkillers that they anticipated....took the op really well....usually patient is kept in hosp for 3 days....mum was given the gift of life from baba on his birthday! Mum came home on his birthday........That is my swami for you.... With swami's grace, mum is well and reads baba books all the time" Her desire is to go to parti again......waiting for baba's call! Just thought i would share. love bakula x
