Om Sri Sai Ram.If you really love Swamiji and accept Him as God on earth and as

your Guru,then His very wish becomes your command even though just subtly

implied.As His devotee, you should consider that you do not have any individual

will but instinctively obey the Divine Will.

 

Many westerners scoff at the fact that when one has a Guru, the disciple always

prostrates himself / herself completely at His Lotus Feet in total

obeisance.Why? In the hope that one day, the Guru will one day have mercy on

him or her and place His Lotus Feet on the disciple's head so that the Pollen

Dust from His Lotus Feet will fall on his / her sahasrara or crown chakra and

thus awaken him / her into self-realization.But to deserve this act of final

Grace, requires total obedience to the Guru.Please remember that our Guru is no

ordinary Guru but God Himself on earth.Where then comes the desire to

doubt,dispute or to defy?

 

I am a Hindu priest but unfortunately not as learned as the pandits in India.In

an interview I had with Swami in 1989, I spoke to Him about my limited

knowledge in this field and told Him that I was living in a foreign country

where the language is Spanish and that Hindus and Spanish Speakers usually

asked me to do their weddings, pujas, shraads, etc.He told me to continue as a

pandit but to to do it all with love.Then one day I was called upon to carry

out a wedding for two Sai devotees.The wedding date was fixed for an auspicious

day but before the wedding was realized, the girl dreamt Swamiji who told her

that if she got married to.......( name of the boy ), her life would become

like the Mahabharat War.We just couldn't understand what Swamiji meant as the

boy was a Sai devotee and was always polite,affectionate and sweet towards

her.The marriage was conducted and the two people began to live together but

her life became a hell.Her husband changed overnight and

was extremely violent.To save her life, she ran away to Swamiji's ashram.

 

Only Swamiji knows each one's heart for He is the omniscient God.He has already

given you a hint about the person you have in mind to be your future husband.Do

not let this hint go in vain Obey!

 

Once, when Sri Ramachandra and Lakshman were in the forest,the Lord asked

Lakshman to look for a suitable place to build a hut.Immediately,Lakshman

became sad and miserable Why? Because he considered that if he had to look for

a suitable spot for the hut, it would be tantamount to using his individual

will.But he had always been taking Sri Rama's hints and wishes as commands for

him.

 

Please be like Lakshman.Do not allow his hint to go in vain

It was so nice of you all to share your own experiences and conveying how

important it is to follow His command. I never thought of bypassing Swami;s

command , for, i know, how important His words are. whatever He said earlier

in my dreams had happened, and this was the first time swami answered in

negative which ofcourse was for my well being...That was the reason i was so

confused.. whether to give up or keep praying until Swami says 'yes' .

 

After reading all your emails, i feel , it is not worth asking for him. After

all He knows what is best for me..all these years He has been taking good care

of me and He knows what to give.

..I was so surprised to find that such things ,had happened in your lives too

and how Swami gave courage and strength to overcome such phase .. He will help

me too when i surrender to the Lord. .

 

It is worth asking for his Love and compassion.,for , He is the one who is going

to be with me all the time. Thank you so much brothers and sisters for helping

me out. I am feeling a lot better now..May be He is teaching a lesson on

Surrender.. i have never ever done that before ,i be very specific in my

demands and the sweet Lord fulfils, now it is time to act like a grown up. I

will pray for His guidance.

It is hard to find words to express my gratitude,thank you so much to help me

understand what is more important in life .
