font-family:"Comic Sans MS"">Finishing his pilgrimage enjoying the blissful

sight of the Lord seated beautifully with Uma, Skandha on

the majestic Bull in various places, the young matured child Thirujnana

Sambandar returned back to Chirkali. With deep humbleness he went with the home

people who came to salute and receive him to worship the wonderful wealth -

the feet of Lord Thiruththoniyappar.

color:blue;font-weight:bold">As he was in the age of “Upanayanam” (a

ritual to open the eye of knowledge

for the young), the ceremony was arranged. The wise prodigy who had the milk of

the Universal Mother - the female form of the Lord who gave the Vedas and

Agamas, was given the status to learn and practice the Vedas by the pundits.

font-weight:bold">

color:purple;font-weight:bold">To their astonishment Thirujnana Sambandar sang

in the sweet tone the holy Vedas and Agamas even before they started teaching

him.

font-family:"Comic Sans MS";color:blue;font-weight:bold">Who needs to teach

that blessed devotee who was given all the knowledge without any effort by the

Lord Himself who is the source all possible knowledge!

font-weight:bold">

color:blue;font-weight:bold">The pundits and scholars of Vedas who came to

teach Thirujnana Sambandar the Vedas, ultimately reversed their positions and got

their doubts on Vedas cleared by him who was supposed to be given initiation!

Explaining the wisdom explored in Vedas, Sambandar made it clear that it is the

Holy Five Letters of the Lord (Na Ma Shi

Va Ya) is the source and superior

of all the mantras. Those knowledgeable people realizing the truth from his

words saluted the Lord of Chirkali and lived in His feelings.

font-family:"Comic Sans MS"">With the music of Yalapanar and Madhangachulamaniyar he

started his pilgrimage again reviving the feeling of devotion in the nooks and

corners of the land. Paying tributes to the Attributeless he submitted many

hymns to the lotus feet of the Lord, while traveling towards west at Thirukkannarkoyil,

Pullirukkuvelur, Thiruninriyur, Nidur, Thiruppunkur, Palamannippadikkarai, Thirukkurukkai,

Anniyur, and many more of the holy

abodes of the Lord. He reached in Thiruppachchilachchiramam

to pray the Perennial Lord.

color:blue;font-weight:bold">The king “Kolli Malavan

of the city had only one young pretty daughter. She was suffering from a

disease called “

"Comic Sans MS"">muyalakan” (a disease which

curtail the function of the legs.) All the efforts to cure the ailment did not

succeed. Finally the King surrendered his daughter to the white ash-smeared

Lord and put his dearest daughter in the abode of the mitigating Mahesha. When

he heard the rejuvenating news of the arrival of Sambandar he ordered to

decorate the kingdom with all good signs and welcome the devotee of the

Delightful Lord. He came forward and fell at the feet of the child. Having his

blessings he took him in procession through the city to reach the illuminated

tower of the Lord's abode.

color:purple;font-weight:bold">The devotee of great love saw the pitiable

condition of the young daughter of the King. He saluted the Lord and sang hymns

towards the Loving Lord requesting humbly to cure her disease. At the

completion of his devotional prayer the young girl sprang up like a deer and

stood with her father.

color:blue;font-weight:bold">The surprised and delighted Kollimalavan fell and

held the tender feet of Sambandar, but the modest Sambandar was praising the

unparalleled mercy of Lord Shiva.

font-family:"Comic Sans MS";color:blue;font-weight:bold">Sambandar continued

his pilgrimage of saluting the Lord by way of his devotional hymns. In the time

when this devoted child lived there was no means for easier transportation but

this child small in appearance and immensely great in purity of devotion

traveled a huge distance to light the flame of Shiva in the minds of masses. Though

it took many seasons for this travel his love for the God that prompted him for

such tedious task never diminished.
