Guest guest
we know that swami is omnipresence and still we behave as if Swami resides only in Puttaparthi. we forget to look within us. However, you get the inner urgency or strong desire to go to Parthi and see him. These thoughts give rise to few questions and i thought i would ask you guys. What is the importance of Darshan? If whatever i am looking is illusion or projection of inner being, then do i need Swami's physical Darshan? Is it not also an illusion? Guest guest
Sai Ram Bala, Why Darshan?-Darshan means to be in the Holy Presence of the Lord. When one is in the Holy Presence of Bhagawan Baba, one is breathing the same air as Baba is.But most of all, one's whole being absorbs the sparks of His Dvine Energy. We are lucky that we are today living in an age where there is facility of transport and communication;we do not have to keep pictures of Baba only;we can go and have a Divine eye bath at Parthi in this age of Concorde...in other yugas ,people and devotees were not as lucky as us. at the lotus feet of Baba anita. Guest guest
Yes you are 100% corrrect other Yugas people and devotees were not as lucky as we are- Swami himself said that in Krishna Avataar only five villages came to know of Krishna's divinity. Now we have all access and we can see our Beloved Lord . Guest guest
Sai Ram Bala Many people have the same doubt as you have. What is special about Darshan? Now you read Swami's version -(Many would have already read this as it is printed and made available in Puttaparthi shops also) " Gift of Darshan Never underestimate what is being accomplished by the act of Darshan. My walking among you is a gift, yearned for by the Gods of the highest heaven, and here you are daily receiving this Grace. Always find a quiet corner after My Darshen, where you may enter the stillness and receive the completion of My blessings. My energy goes out from Me as I pass by you. If you precceed to talk with others immediately, this precious energy is disssssipated and returned to Me,unused by you. Rest assured that whatever My eyes see becomes vitalised and transmuted. You are changed day by day. -Sri Sathya Sai Baba " Need we say or explore more on Darshan when the Lord Himself declared thus. As long as your sense organs are taking inputs , a Divine Darshan is the noblest and ultimate feast for all the sense organs. It is a differnt matter altogether when you are taking inputs by transcending the sense organs when the time and space become redundant and in such exalted state the very thought of Swami manifests as Divine Darshan inside you rendering the same effect as in physical realm. Hence in my humble opinion it is the state of mind in which you are which will determine what can be exempted and made redundant. Swami is available in both formats. With humble pranams at all of your lotus feet Sairam R.Chandrashekar Chheda Nagar Chembur Mumbai India 00-91-9821482711
