Hi

Im really happy to be apart of this prayer group. I always feel light and happy

afterwards. I was wondering if anyone else felt that way too?

I thought that eventually someday we can extend the prayer group to twice a

week. It would really benefit the universe and also help change it. Swami once

said in a discourse that we all have the power to heal those who are sick as

well as the Avatar himself if we have united prayer. In India there is always

constant prayer and puja going on throughout the region. I'm in the USA and I

wish we could do that here. It would be great if we could unite "wordly" twice

a week. Any thoughts?

I was curious also as to who is doing their prayers at 7 am eastern time U.S.? Just wanted to know.

Loving pranams

It is ideal to do prayers in the Brahma Muhurta time before 6 AM. All this

Universal Prayer service is voluntary participation and it is for Universal

Peace and Harmony. Universe is Baba ( the creator in human form) and his

creation.

The beauty is that these chosen prayers give Individual benefit and the benefit

to the Universe at the same time. 7 AM was chosen to adapt a little to the

physical needs of various age groups and seems reasonable and practical. I feel

that the response to this calling is so Universal among all the readers that

belong to this Satsang group, that we are all hoping and feel that it is nice

to set aside 20 minutes for this pious cause every day!!!

Actually, 20 minutes per day in prayer is ideal and the collective group prayer

energy will be limitless.

Hi,

I am almost always saying my prayers at 7:00 a.m. EST. I live in the

Dayton,Ohio area and am looking for ways to unite with Sai devotees because I

don'e know any others in my town.

Thank you for asking and for the suggestion of twice a week. I think that's wonderful.

Exactly this awareness we want to create and with this conciousness it

is like tremendous power which is unfathomable, and imagine the vibrations

which will be carried all over the world. Yes I too had the same positive

feelings as I am in Toronto(eastern time).

Great we can think more about this-

Let us hear more from our Brother's and Sister's-

Sai Ram. I live in Detroit, Michigan USA & am 78 yrs

old. I am sorry I am unable to keep up to the Eastern

standard time of 7-00 A.m. for this group Prayer. I am

able to start my Prayer only around 8-00 to 8-15 a.m.

or so with a feeling that some one living in the

Central or Mountain Zone will then be also praying. So

I hope this doesn't matter much so long as I keep my

Group Prayer with sincerity & devotion. Jai Sai Ram,

Sairam sister Kendra,

I live in India and would like correct the impression on prayers, hardly any one

does constant puja or prayer through out the day, some individuals set aside a

time for their daily puja / prayers and spend their rest of the time in daily

mundane activities of life. There are others rationalists and atheists who do

not pray at all. A few of those, who have taken to spiritual path, try to do

silent namasmarana while performing routine activities. All this is individual

sadhana. Participation in group prayers multiplies the vibrations generated and

has better result. Our SPG group's attempts are in that direction to generate

HIS grace for those suffering.

Weekly prayer at 7 AM (local time) on Sunday was chosen for making it

convenient for members to participate. This way vibrations will be

continuously generated on a Sunday when different groups in different countries

participate in this SPG activity.

At individual level there is no harm in saying these prayers everyday at

convenient time. Ultimately aim of all prayers is to realise the GOD who is

resident with in oneself.

Madhusudan

Sai Ram Balakrishnajee ,

It doesn't matter at all- as long you are doing the prayers

for the mankind and your heart reach out for them.

Your devotion certainly inspires us a lot.

May Swami Bless you profusely and May you have infinite Ananda and Bliss.

You can pray at your convenience ,somewhere your thoughtwaves will certainly coincide

with other devotees who are praying from other counties which fall under different time zone.

This collective prayer conciousness that is important imagine same prayer is

done collectively throughout the world and thoughtwaves will be connecting-

inexpressible-

May Swami Bless you with health and happpiness.

Sai Ram Madhu ,

I completely agree with you ,our concept was to do prayer collectively so that

we can spread the vibrations to all (suffering or non suffering). Now

participating in this prayer for twenty minutes everyday is it possible ?well

everything is possible if there is a will, but problem is each person has his

or her own individual sadhana, own method of worship which give them immense

satisfaction and bringing them collectivley to do this prayer everyday- I have

my doubts-

As you all know that people working different shifts (we are talking throughout

the world),different work schedules ,bearing all this mind we thought we will

pray collectively once a week on Sundays (7.00 am)- our whole idea was to pray

in unison with all devotess all over the world on that day making everyone to

participate nothing else as prayer request were pouring from every corner.(

that also we cannot exceed more than 20 to 25 minutes of prayer)

We formed this prayer group by His grace only and when we are chanting Gayatri

mantra or Sai Gayatri then also we are praying for His grace only and then how

can we say that we are not praying for His grace? Yes we are praying for His

grace and with His grace we are spreading divine energy, healing energy to all-

even Swami's Darshan has the same concept after receiving His Darshan He told

us no to misuse but to spread it as this will express in their perfect time

like good works yu do,service to the needy-Phylllis Crystal the famous author

aslo taught this kind of meditation where she states - "When we look at Swami's

photo for ten minutes ,try to feel that you are getting divine loving energy

from Swami and then try to visaulize that you are spreading that loving divine

energy to all who are suffreing , those afflicted with pain, cities in turmoil-

and then she went on that we have to spread that energy which we received from

Him otherwise it will remain

dormant useless.

Finally we all want to pray twice a week which is very good but please remember

this is a commitment we have to carry on collectively.
