Guest guest
I am a student and I am doing a project to develop educational computer games for Indian rural areas. Can you suggest of any ideas/ story line for the games. It can be just small ideas that could be incorporated here and there in the games. Also, how does one put Swami's teachings in these games so that those children who play these games also get the learnings and teachings from the games! Please give me some ideas/suggestions on the same. Thanking You, With Sai Regards, Vikas

Guest guest
I can only suggest no matter how and what plans you take in designing, please create games that will not arouse the "Fright and Flight" response that will cause excitement and raise the Blood Pressure. This response is causing a rebound depression, particularly teen agers who are hooked on to computer games. I think taking the morality stories like the Jataka tales and Panch Tantra, creating mazes and answering questions that will stimulate cognitive associations and processing will be much needed. There should be back ground classical music that will be very soothing and thought provoking. NO heavy metal or Band that is loud. In a state of internal peace through this relaxation response children can pay attention and learn. Modern research has proved the validity of creating delta and aplha brain waves that connect the frontal obe of the brain thropugh teh msensory input. Similarly some computer games that will draw sustained attention at one point creates the alpha waves that is being researched by Dr. Steven from The Harvard Graduate School Of Education. He is working under Dr. Kurt Fischer. They devised "The Lexia" games. I am for ever waiting SAI Devotees to create games that are value based, and that will be associated with classical music, Eye-Hand coordination mazes that will stimulate the aplha waves./ and delta waves in the brain. These waves represent a calm state of sustained attention span in the brain. Good Luck my child and please be in touch if you need medical suggestions Love and blessings Meena Chintapalli
Guest guest
Excellent idea Vikas simply stunning- you can get some ideas from Swami's children books and they are illustrated too. Swami's messages like- Do Good Be Good See Good This is the way to God. Speak softly and Sweetly . See no evil Speak no evil Hear no evil. You can get stories from Swami's Chinna Katha also from Swami's discouses where it states how to show love and gratitude towards your parents , How tree ,cows and rivers teach us ,lesson of life ( all these stories you will get from Balvikas stories) Your idea is simply awesome - Brother simply Great. May Swami Bless you always Soumendra
