Guest guest Posted June 14, 2005 Report Share Posted June 14, 2005 Sairam Soumendra da, Over here in the state of Andhra Pradesh we have started an individual sadhana by the way of taking part in daily prayers, such as naama japa 1008 times or mantra japa ( Gayatri or 4 line mantras) 720 times or Ashtakams / ashtothara shata namavali of any deity 9 times or sahasra namavali of any deity once or parayana of any holy book Shirdi Sai satcharitra / Devi bhagavatham / Guru Charitra / Sundara Kandam / Tapovanam etc ( a fixed amount say one chapter every day) or in case performing a vratam Sai / Devi once a week, from 9 Jun to 9 Nov, with a sankalpam Sri Sri Sri Sathya Sai Baba deha arogya siddhyardham, Avathara Karya siddyardham idam aham karishye. I have just written this as information and not suggesting any changes in Group Prayers started by our group. I will be taking part in the group prayers every Sunday at 7 AM. Are we going to shun away from all the prayers- Oh! Beautiful people of Sai you have all the powers so why you want to sigh away? Is this our Beloved Swami expect from us? Oh! what plea from Sister's and Brother's requesting for urgent prayers- some say my brother met with an accident, another says I have to make sales target otherewise there will be no jobs, another one says my brother is beating my father, another without a job in a alien country- OH! Beloved devotees you have received all Grace from Sai, dont just turn your face and carry on with your day to day chores and just say they have to face their Karmas. OH Beautiful people dont you know Swami is in pain as he reaveled in His message to Sri Lankan people "I am in pain but I dont care for my body ". So just plunge in and pray as they seek your prayers -you are their only hope as they firmly believe their prayers will be answered if it done collectively. Distress souls know that collective prayers will be answered by Swami and their wishes will be fulfilled. You are their refuge Oh Beautiful people dont shun away - Can't you hear their desperate cry Oh Beautiful people- They want some one to hear them- Can't you understand their plight? Reach out collectively and heal their wounds. You only can do it no one else can Oh Beautiful people- Pray for them your prayers are like thosand volts which is loaded with all powers oh Beautiful people- Now why you want cut off dates ? this jouney has just begun from I to We and now so soon we want cut off dates- no let it extend- let it grow . Your prayers will make Swami walk can't you see Oh Beautiful people- He is the healer of a world in pain, The blue throated god That drinks the poison of its suffering To make it happy and whole.(Dr V. This is heralding the Golden Age Of Sai, where the focus is one single objective for healing all. Healing here is Emotional, Physical, Intellectual, Psychological and Spiritual. I htink we are all doing something in our little way. But this connectivity over the internet is Global and Amazing and Lord SAI will decide how and when he will give the fruits of this delivered to Humanity!!! SAI and his reflections in the Universe will benefit. In our little Center, on the same Monday that the Yagna started, we did Mookaambika Maha Yagnam between 4 Am- 8 Am. It was successfully done. We could not do all three days as a result of work schedules. We did Beejaakshara mantram, 108 each for Durga, Lakshmi and Saraswati. Sudarsana mantram, Maha Mrityumjaya mantram, Sri Satya Sai Aarogyam mantram, Sai Gayatri preceded by Maha Ganapati mantram at the very begining. Since 2003 every day, as much as possible, at personal level, Sankalpam is taken for Bhagawan's health and Sri Sooktam and Lalita Sahasra Naamam is chanted. A few of us are off and on are doing collectively. It is the collective chanting that gives the most energy. Some people in Brindavan started Lalita Sahasra Naama Paaraayana. If Narayana will not heal himself, Naarayani can heal Naaraayana. The sankalpam I take is " Sri Satya Sai Sampoorna, Paripoorna Arogya Siddhyartham, Labhyartham, Sri Satya Sai Dharma Samsthapana Dwigvijayaartham" I just felt like sharing this much and was inspired after reading brother Madhu's e-mail. No. She will intervene, for sure. Let us surrender to Their Will. This brings me to think .... if Narayana has assumed a form amongst us, His children, can't Narayani too be amongst us ? She hasn't revealed Herself to us as yet, maybe. Only Swami can clear our thoughts on this issue.
